There are two valid reasons for edits to this study being: "The manuscript misquotes and selectively cites published papers. References #16, 17, 25 and 26 are all misquoted." And "The author submitted that he is currently affiliated to Stanford University, and VA Palo Alto Health Care System. However, both institutions have confirmed that Dr Vainshelboim ended his connection with them in 2016." Neither of which would have been sufficient for retraction had the study gone in the "correct" direction. Still, if you want to counter the narrative make sure your paperwork is rock solid and you don't misrepresent facts about yourself. It makes the rest of the study look suspect. Also note that the retraction date was in May 2021, after the twitter suspension.

She’d never had a bad experience with a man.
