It has become apparent that there are still some little things âoffâ about Ella. Her mind is much like a toddler still, and she doesnât understand a lot of things. She has trouble taking care of herself with simple things, like getting herself to bed on her own even when sheâs exhausted, or eating on her own without someone initiating and giving her food to eat. She doesnât understand, and gets stubborn.
âLook, you need to go to bed. Youâre tired.â
âBut I donât wanna go to bed. I want to stay up with you.â
âIâm not going to be here. I have to work. You sleep, and Iâll be back home later when you wake up. Mom and Dad are here, donât worry. I promise.â
