Original Composition for The Fault In Our Stars
This is an original composition written by myself as my entry for #littleinfinities on May 10th in London! :)
I'm rebloging my #littleinfinities entry because the competition is ending tomorrow! Because of this i'd like to take the opportunity to thank the wonderful people who are so dedicated to the creation, inspiration, production, funding and loyalty to The Fault In Our Stars movie. To recreate a story so intricate and wonderful which not long ago lived as a dream in the equally intricate mind of the equally wonderful John Green - with the dedication and passion that has gone into the project...that's something truly inspiring in itself, and something which has inspired me beyond measure. I would so greatly adore to go to the #littleinfinities screening as this story is one which I hold so close; the one I hold the closest, where I find within it a home. It's a story which has moulded and changed the way I apprehend the world, and also myself. From the moment of reading this story, there was nothing in my life that wasn’t alive with meaning and that wasn’t capable of suggesting weird and hidden significances and metaphors, which for lack of anything better to call them, opened up the possibility of The Infinite. If to share a connection with a story could be compared to being in love with a story, then it would be to be suddenly united with the most inspired and the most outrageously alive part of yourself, a part which not only lives in the quiet moments of reading the story but also who lives in the day to day lives we lead...then this is the story I am in love with. The book lights up all these meanings which buzz like atoms all around us. Everything becomes terrifyingly and beautifully complex; everything was terrifyingly and beautifully simple. Nothing goes unnoticed and everything carried with it a kind of drama and infinity. The readers of this book and those dedicated people who invisioned this project from the begining show that buzz and life and love for the story too, one that is impossible to fall back from, one you'd never try to, never want to...and i'm so thankful that the homosapians of the Earth are blessed with this infinitely wonderful story.
