We must push for better accessibility for deaf & hard of hearing people, but we need it now more than ever!

Here’s a website on how to make or where to purchase a lip-reading mask. 

Write to your professor and urge them to use closed captioning if your classes are pre-recorded. Normalizing the use of closed captioning helps create a more accessible world for deaf/HOH students. 

Urge other hearing people to use clear language during class discussions, put their camera on so that students can lip-read, or to write out what they have to say in the chat box.
