Was washing the dishes and my mind sort of strayed to reflecting on how love really is immeasurable as an emotion, a feeling, a function of our experiences as people each interpreting the human condition. To feel as lucky as I do to have the people in my life that I do while still being overcome by the sorrow of knowing we’ll just never have all the time in the world together, and it’s because love throws time into sharp relief and reveals to us how small it is in comparison, but I guess that means it pales analogously too, that no matter how short our time w one another is in this world, love is so full of truth and perspicuity and devotion that it allows for these exact windows of time to feel like universes all their own regardless
Mike Flanagan really said horror isn’t death. Death can be peaceful. Death can be sad. Death is the one thing that makes us all equal. Horror is the people we become, the terrible desperate people, when we can’t accept death for what it is.

just so u know everything in the entire universe is always about love and when it isn't about love it is abt the absence of love. hope this makes sense
