RADIO. As the plane came down, Percy was hit in the head with the pilot’s radio. While they don’t know how to put it back into working order, they are still hesitant to share its presence with anyone but Beau.
GRANOLA BARS. In an effort to gain weight for their last season on the football team next year, Percy has been attempting to put on pounds with extra fatty granola bars, of which they have a large store in their backpack.
survival skills & threats
SPEED. Young has been on the varsity team for Track & Field since their freshman year, and is especially talented at shorter sprints, which they took advantage of on the football team.
OBEDIENCE. After years of strict (but loving) parents, followed by months under the watchful eye of Captain O'Shaughnessy on the football team, Percy has learned to follow directions and not question orders
INJURY. Percy sustained a concussion from the fallen radio, and is still suffering the consequences of this injury.
EMPATHY. Young is particularly empathetic towards animals in particular and, as such, would never feel comfortable killing any of the creatures on the island, even if it meant their own starvation.
Eloise Olson (Ex) Eloise and Percy were an ‘item’ at the end of their sophomore year and the beginning of their junior year, before Percy realized she was only with them so much in order to sleep with the older, hunkier football stars.
Beau Jackson (Best friend) Beau and Percy have been close friends since their tween years, enduring the hardships of high school together, and Percy is sure that just one little hook up shouldn’t change anything, as long as they never mention it again.
