Welcome to the Mewseum of Art History! We'll be starting our tour way back in ancient times, in Egypt. The Bust of Queen Nefurkitti was discovered in 1912 inside the ruins of an ancient sculptor's studio. It was found missing an eye, possibly because it was lost. It is also theorized that the bust was created as a demo of sculpting techniques.
