thoughts on kangin's (second) DUI?

I feel like on the 2nd offense you really have to consider what’s wrong with a person, because a 2nd occurrence indicates a 3rd might happen unless you identify what’s going on. (a single offense doesn’t mean someone necessarily will do it a second time, but if it happens twice, that’s definitely a red flag)

I wonder if maybe the people around him are too lax, if he’s keeping particularly bad company, if he’s really stressed and drinks too much (and doesn’t tell anyone so he has to drive himself), things like that. I don’t see this as an opportunity to be hypercritical and call him callous and senseless because I am aware of the potential mental health, emotional well-being concerns that may underwrite the circumstances

He hasn’t hurt anyone this time, and we don’t know if he really was just being careless or something else is going on, so I refrain from that kind of judgment. I just want to make sure he’s doing okay and isn’t on a path of self-destruction … celebrities and people in the entertainment industry in general have a bad predisposition towards that and I’m concerned ….

Please please PLEASE don’t buy any blue tangs, clown fish, or any other fish/invertebrates in these movies. If you really want to see these pretty fish, there are many established aquariums which house some local and tropical fishes in well kept homes.

Also saying this because there is apparently a sea otter in the movie, but DO NOT APPROACH SEA OTTERS. They might look cute, but they are CRITICALLY ENDANGERED, and disturbing it can potentially cause it to waste precious energy fleeing from you; energy it needs to grow, maintain body heat, forage, and what not. It is also ILLEGAL in the United States to harass a marine mammal.

If you really love the animals in this movie, protect them and their homes.
