VACA RECAP Day One

Pretty much everything is on fire. There’s smoke covering everything like a veil as we drove off into the interior hoping to see the fantastic mountains. Yet, there we were taking photos of smokey fog with a slight hope that the winds will pick up and its uncover the beautiful sights we had seen two years prior.

It’s strange to see so much smoke but no fire. Two years ago I woke to a strange hue in the sky, you could tell it was daylight but there were no clouds and everything was shaded by this overcast. Today, we drove into the smokey overcast, it burned our eyes a bit yet we were determined to continue our adventure East. 

The small towns were nice with bookstores that held secrets and aisles of mystery, waiting for you to find their treasure. We stopped for pictures of smokey mountains still holding onto that hold. It was too hot to think that wind would help. 

I was so glad to reach the hotel, to finally relax after being crammed in a car for hours in that car. Here we are after a whole days worth of travel, its hot but were right down the street from a Gym. 

Next post might be longer, but I might also post a twitch clip and have a stream recap :)
