In April 2024, my friend's house was bombed while he was inside. When he woke in the hospital he learned doctors didn't have the resources to remove all the shrapnel from his body. Newly homeless, his family began a fundraiser to raise money for medical evacuation so he could receive this surgery. That was two years ago. The shrapnel is still embedded in his body, causing him chronic pain.

The past two years have been nonstop traumatic desperation. Fadel has been bombed and shot at and starved. I want you all to understand this reality behind Fadel's campaign: it is all they have for hospital bills, medication, supplies, shelter, food, clean water, and clothing.

His family has nothing. They are living week to week on only what is sent. They just spent their last $100 on food, and Fadel cannot afford his blood medication, and he ends up hospitalized for anemia so severe he collapses unconscious, which then creates more bills to pay.

I have some good news I wanted to share with you.

I have made progress in my project and managed to create some wonderful pieces. However, I faced major setbacks because I needed to buy raw materials, and I didn’t have enough money. My campaign is moving very slowly.

At the same time, I am trying to support my family and become independent by starting my own project.

These are some of the results of my achievements this month, created amidst the tents and rubble. I will try to keep you updated always, but please help me as much as you can and talk about my work.

Here is a glimpse of some of the hardships I face, with rain and water leaking into the tent where my family and I live. But I always hold on to hope for life 🤍.

We are living in extremely difficult conditions in Gaza. Every day is a struggle for the most basic needs like food, water, and medicine.

I spend most of my time trying to share updates and reach people, but I still haven’t been able to get enough help.

My father is very sick and urgently needs medical treatment, and I am doing everything I can to support him while we are going through this situation.
