2019 New Year’s Resolutions

1. Try to read every night 

I plan on doing the PopSugar 2019 reading challenge to make sure I do the reading! 

2. Spend less time on my phone 

I want to spend less time on instagram and more time focusing on my studies and being present in the moment

3. Drink more water and tea (not soda and juices)

I want to lose some weight in the new year and the first thing I am going to do is cut out all soda. 

4. Journal memories and thoughts 

I want to be able to look back and remember all the good and bad times in college 

5. Study smarter, not harder 

My goal is to aim for a 4.0 GPA for my spring and fall 2019 semesters. I want to pick up some really good study habits this year.

My new year's resolution is to read more books (or finish a book if I made a start).

Why wait for Jan 1st if I can start now :). Here I'm reading The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom.

Be patient with yourself. You’re trying. If it’s taking you longer than you thought to achieve something or get somewhere, that’s okay. Try not to compare yourself to others and what they’re doing. Things will happen for you at the right time. Be patient. You’ll get there soon.

This is so true! I usually want to see immediate results and if I don't see them I get disappointed. I want to be like the people who are succeeding in what they do (for example a lot of followers or a lot of interaction with the people who follow you), but I forget that it takes a lot of work/dedication and that it doesn't happen in a day.
