What’s your favorite things to do in the summer? Do you set a summer tbr? Summer is not really my favorite season but there are still things I do love about it like cold beverages. Halfway-ish through the week. I had quite a lot of work planned for this week, and quite a lot of not work too. I'm trying to prioritise enjoying Spring break so I did this post late as I hadn't done much work as of yesterday.

This weeks tasks were:

[×] read course texts for two of my modules

[ ] finish self studying the last chapter of relativity

[×] review the astro lecture(s) on telescopes

[ ] organise my lecture notes

[ ] review at least one chapter of maths

I decided to rejig my plan for my electricity module and have as of today completed the content review I set out to do for that, so I now have 3 problems sets to review over the next couple of weeks.

I haven't even started looking at relativity yet. I don't anticipate it being an excessively large task but I haven't got to it yet- planning to assign it to one of my free-er days later this week.

Telescope lectures are complete and the next step is to complete all the lectures under that topic, so

[ ] astrophysical techniques lectures

Organising lecture notes hasn't happened yet and while important, this is a low urgency task. It will be a next week problem.

Finally, a chapter of maths. This is high priority as I'm terrible for letting my maths module fall by the wayside as I massively prefer physics! The chapter I'm hoping to do this week is a big one so even if only the first half of it happens, that will be good.

1/100 days of productivity

hi!! so i’ve been around tumblr for a while now, but i never got the courage to start my own studyblr. i was afraid of not being able to get creative enough to post frequently. i’ve been through a rough patch with studying, the uni life and my mental health in general that for the last few months i’ve been searching of ways to stay motivated and recently i thought that maybe i should just “start posting and seeing where we go from there” would be a good start to get that motivation back, so that’s what i’m doing.

5.1.2021 & 5.2.2021 // Day 1 of the 100 Day Productivity Challenge

Okay, so yesterday, I had the brilliant idea to actually be productive since it was a new month. I had recently seen the 100 day productivity challenge circle around the place and I was like, ‘Cool, how hard can it be?’… A day later, I’m low-key freaking out haha. I’m actually getting shit done but I’m also taking a lot more breaks than I expected so my brain and I negotiated a deal, workdays are single days, week-ends count as one day (Saturday and Sunday are just one day together)…which gives me the break I need and the work time I need to get stuff done.

But…YEAH! Which brings me here :)

At this point, I’m basically treating tumblr as a public journal to record each day but I’ll definitely be around more often cause guess what, I’m doing a PRODUCTIVITY (a foreign word in my vocabulary) challenge!!

The two pictures above are bio and chem notes I took today (chem is digital and bio is paper). I did some ceramics work (in which I made a cupcake shaped container) and french work (geography and culture of the francophone world; Senegal in particular) too. I decided to keep my hair as two french-braids (the quality of them is questionable but not the point xD), and sketched some acrobatic poses (handstands on stilts and on silk tapestries, idk what it’s called haha).

I’m really proud of myself because I did a lot more than I thought I could, and also had fun while I was at it (the two candy wrappers should be the clues ;)

Today’s a new week and we’re at a new month too. Start of strong.
