Day 4: Magic | Possession
hiii! could you possible write something with a whumpee with a low pain tolerance and caretakers (or medic and caretaker or whatever) are trying to comfort them and stitch them up pls?? only if you want though no worries if not
#398
content: forced treatment, needles, medical whump
"No, no no no no no, please, I can't—"
"Whumpee, we have to. Come on. Don't make this more difficult than it needs to be."
"You don't understand! You don't get it, it'll hurt, it'll hurt so much, please, no—"
Caretaker turned to Medic. Medic nodded, and Caretaker nodded back. They would have to hold Whumpee down. "I'm only doing this for your own good," they said before they pinned Whumpee's cut up arm to the table, one hand on their wrist, the other on their elbow. The jagged cut ran along their forearm, and Medic finally had a good enough situation to work with.
okay so what if there was a hero who's power was to amplify other people's powers so they often go on missions in a pair BUT they get separated from the other hero they're with for some reason and then get found by a villain who basically kidnaps them in order to make themselves all powerful or something. wat about dat
Catnip
“Useful little thing, aren’t you?”
Sidekick startled back from the window at the unexpected voice. They located the source easily and glared when they finally recognized the face a dozen feet away. The villain had their eyes focused through a second pane, a look of appraisal fixed upon their face.
“I am not a thing.” Sidekick bristled. “And I am not being used.”
They crossed their arms defensively as the villain turned, cat-like and unnatural, to appraise them instead.
Sidekick had been watching the hero battle through the dusty glass, intent gaze shifting from move after move so they could properly boost the hero whenever they were in need of an upper hand. The inside of the warehouse was large and open, plenty of room for Sidekick to assist from a distance, but they had strict orders to stay outside the building.
It was safer this way, Hero had insisted. The agency’s secret weapon: hidden in the shadows.
Sidekick hadn’t scoffed before, but with eyes following the purposeful gait heading towards them, they certainly would now.
The villain stepped up to them, positioning themselves annoyingly close. Sidekick barely refrained from rolling their eyes.
Villains, always with the theatrics.
“Is that so, hm?”
The dramatic villain drug their gaze from the sidekick’s head to their toes, causing Sidekick to narrow their eyes further.
“Yes. It is,” they responded firmly. It was almost funny, the intimidation act, and it took a great deal for them to maintain their professionalism.
A quirk of the lip shifted into an uncanny full-blown smile.
“Oh, but I do plan on using you.”
The villain’s eyes flashed in a way that could never be faked.
Suddenly the proximity was something else. Something dangerous.
Sidekick’s eyes went wide and they stumbled a step back.
This was real, very real. Far from the joke they had made it out to be in their head.
Of course as a member of the agency they were trained to fight, but everything inside of them screamed to run—and who were they deny their instincts?
They made a bee-line for the propped open entrance door a dozen feet in the opposite direction. They reached desperate fingers out for the silver handle to widen the gap as their feet skidded on the gravel. They got it pulled just enough to theoretically swing themselves inside, only the metal was ripped from their hand before they could. The door slammed closed with them still decidedly on the other side.
Ok, so no backup.
That was fine, they could switch tactics.
Sidekick whipped their head around to face the oncoming threat.
Never in a million years would the hero have let them engage in hand-to-hand combat one-on-one out in the field. Not if they were on this side of the door.
But they weren’t, were they? It was just Villain and Sidekick, a telekinetic and an amplifier—with no power to amplify but the villain’s.
Sidekick had never felt such a childish urge to stick their head under the covers as they did right now.
There was one more option, fitting of the terrified child they felt trapped inside them. Sidekick sucked in a quick breath and opened their mouth wide, just to find that they couldn’t scream, their throat held tight.
And not by fear.
Oh.
The realization hit them with a shiver, bumps rising involuntarily all over their skin. They soon found the rest of their body held similarly, the only movement allowed to them being the rapid rise and fall of their chest, even that restricted by the little air allowed past their vocal folds.
This fight was over before it ever begun.
The muscles of their larynx spasmed as they fought to widen their airway. Sidekick made soft little gasping sounds, a slight wheeze starting up in their chest.
Don’t panic, don’t panic—
“What’s wrong, Sweetheart? Cat got your tongue?”
Sidekick was panicking. They don’t train you for losing your voice, for losing your oxygen. They were a mouse all right, and not one fit for a meal.
A toy.
And there was nothing they could do about it.
A tear slid down their cheek but they didn’t feel it, only aware of its presence because the villain stepped close and lifted a thumb to wipe it away.
“Don’t worry,” they chided. “Like I said, you’re useful.”
Sidekick’s body ignored all of their increasingly frantic signals to strain away. When their face was cupped in a twisted cradle by two gloved hands, they couldn’t take it anymore and squeezed their eyes shut.
“And I take good care of my tools.”
It was a minor mercy that the villain couldn’t feel how they would have flinched when their head was tilted forward and a chin pressed atop their head. Now only at risk of seeing the ground, Sidekick opened their eyes to cast their gaze longingly to the side at the rusted door frame.
Safer my ass.

When a half conscious or delirious whumpee just keeps apologizing for everything <3333
Whumpee laying on a bed, screaming and crying into a gag. The medical team around them are expressionless as they perform what needs to be done, with little regard to the pain it's causing.
Are they trying to help? Whumpers? or Caretakers with terrible bedside manners?
Whumpee telling Friend!Whumper to watch their drink at a club, unaware that Friend!Whumper is actually the one that's going to roofie them.
When Whumpee gets back, Friend!Whumper smiles and says "I watched it like a hawk! You're all good."

"Here." Whumper unlocked the cell door and pushed it open.
Caretaker's mouth went dry.
Captive whumpee has their own room, or closet, or cage, and when they enter it whumper won't touch them. They are never restrained in a way that prevents them from fleeing to their place. Whumper will lure them out with food or painkillers, with undoing any restraints still on them, with the promise of a shower, and whumper keeps those promises. Whumpee comes to feel safe in their place, and knows that, at least in this one thing, they can trust whumper.
And then the rescue happens, and the rescuers drag whumpee out of their safe place to get them to actual safety.
Day 15: Dizzy
-
“Did… did you fucking drug me?”
The floor shifted and swayed in a decidedly un-floor-like fashion, and Caleb braced a hand against the wall for support.
"My God, you're finally feeling it now? What a tolerance you've got. Much experience with this, have you?”
The chemist rose from their desk and moved between Caleb and the door.
Caleb scowled, leaning against the wall. He stumbled forward, each step another wave crashing atop him, another assault on the senses. His vision fell out of focus, and he gasped as the floor was suddenly 100 feet down.
With a new jolt of vertigo, his legs faltered and he collapsed, falling 100 terrifying feet to the floor.
His heart beat wildly, and a pair of fingers against his neck confirmed his racing pulse. A satisfied hum sounded above him.
"Your services are much appreciated, Caleb,” the chemist said, though the words fell on deaf ears. "I do enjoy a good experiment.”
The chemist whistled a tune as they dragged his twitching body out the door.

Heroes 3x14
Hello 👋🏻
Could you maybe write something about a villain with hypnotic powers who lives with their lover (hero or civilian I don't care 🤷🏻♀️) but they lover has no idea they're the villain. And one day they discover the truth (see them in suit but without the mask, find a secret passage in their home....whatever) and the villain quickly tries to use their powers on them to make them forget ?
No pressure of course, and thanks for your time 🐔🐔
Hi Anons! I am going to combine your requests, since they all have to do with hero x villain hypnosis! I hope you enjoy!
Ouroboros
Villain heard the crash just as they had pulled their mask off. They froze, not daring to turn their head and reveal their bare face.
“What are you doing in my house?” Civilian’s voice demanded.
They seemed a lot braver than Villain had assumed they would be in a scenario like this.
“I’m not going to hurt you,” Villain said slowly, “just turn around and go back the way you came.”
“Yeah, I don’t think so. You picked the wrong place to rob.”
Villain didn’t have time to slip their mask back on before an ice beam hit them in the back, knocking them to the ground.
Civilian, no, Hero, was on top of them in an instant.
“Where do you get the nerve to break in? I have a private life you know!”
Civilian was Hero. Hero was Civilian. This day just got better and better, didn’t it? Villain screwed their eyes shut as their lover turned them over. They just knew Hero was holding in a gasp.
“I can explain-”
“Y-you’re-”
Villain dared to open their eyes. Their heart split open. Hero was slowly climbing off of them and backing away. That tough façade was gone, it had vanished without a trace. Their lover was afraid of them.
“Civilian, I can explain,” Villain repeated.
They tried to stand up in the most non-threatening manner they could manage. Hero’s eyes were wide as saucers, and they had formed a long icicle in one hand and ice shards in the other.
“Stay away from me,” Hero said quietly.
“Hero, please,” Villain tried, “it’s not what it looks like. I promise.”
“It looks like my lover of five years is my enemy,” Hero said.
Villain shook off the sting of Hero’s words.
“I didn’t know you were Hero,” they said, “please just put the ice down, we can talk about this.”
They took a step forward. Bad idea. Hero flung the ice shards at them and bolted down the hallway, jumping over the shattered mug of tea they had dropped at the start of all this. Villain glanced down at it. That mug had been an anniversary present. Villain cursed, and rushed after their beloved.
They grabbed Hero and whirled them around, pulling them in close. They held them still with an arm locked around their waist.
“Look at me,” Villain ordered.
“Let me go, you sick snake!” Hero shouted.
Tears brimmed in Hero’s eyes as Villain tried to meet them. They struggled fiercely in their grip, but unlike Villain, Hero didn’t have enhanced strength.
“Look at me!” Villain snapped.
Hero shrank in on themselves as much as Villain’s grip would allow. The guilt bubbled up in Villain’s gut; Hero met their eyes.
Villain let their eyes begin to shimmer and swirl, unblinking. The patterns reflected in Hero’s pupils, and they could feel Hero growing still and pliant in their hold.
“Shhh,” Villain soothed, “settle down, Hero. None of this happened. The past hour is going to vanish from your mind, never to return. I am not Villain. I am your lover, you are my world. I would never hurt you.”
Technically, Villain’s hypnotic power and their snake-like abilities were from two separate sources, but most people just assumed they were of one power. People really didn’t know much about snakes. Like how snakes couldn’t actually hypnotize anything, or how they didn’t have eyelids, or how they weren’t all vicious monsters determined to seduce, deceive, and hurt the creatures around them. It seemed like Hero had fallen for the last stereotype, though. It broke Villain’s heart to see them so afraid. They wished they could hypnotize themselves to forget as well.
Hero had significantly calmed down as Villain rubbed their back and hummed against them.
“Go to sleep,” Villain said, “my words will solidify when you wake.”
They caught Hero as they went limp in their hold. The expression on their face was peaceful, with no hint of fear or hurt visible anywhere. The gentle rise and fall of their chest helped Villain settle down as well.
They carried Hero back down the hall to their shared bedroom. Villain lay them on the bed and returned to their office to remove their suit. They pressed a panel on the wall and hid their secret in the compartment that opened from the detection of their biometrics.
Villain closed the panel and left their office. They opened their mouth, their tongue morphing into a forked shape just long enough to taste the air. Cinnamon and vanilla, that would be Hero asleep in the next room over; lemon, the soap bar in the bathroom; citrus and spice… the tea on the floor.
Villain went over to clean up the mess when they heard footsteps behind them.
“Other Civilian?” Hero yawned, “what happened?”
Villain looked down at the mug fragments in their hands, then back at Hero.
“I was bringing you a drink,” Villain lied, “I guess it got away from me.”
Hero chuckled sleepily. It was adorable. They came over, eyeing the carpet.
“Hm. Stained.”
“I’m sure we can get it out with something,” Villain said, “I can go buy some carpet cleaner and-”
Hero cupped the side of Villain’s face and kissed them. They took the hallway rug and dragged it over the stain.
“There, now it’s our little secret,” Hero said with a smile.
Hero passed them and led the way to the kitchen. Villain followed.
“But definitely pick up some carpet cleaner!” Hero called over their shoulder.
“You got it,” Villain smiled.
They held the mug fragments over the trash can. They stared at each cracked ceramic piece. They pulled away, setting them on the counter.
“Other Civilian?” Hero asked, tilting their head.
“It’s special,” Villain said, “I’m going to try to fix it.”
“You’re so sweet,” Hero said, “I’m so lucky to have you.”
Hero started making themselves lunch for the second time that day. Villain didn’t stop them. They just got out the superglue while the guilt swallowed them whole.

The Hand that Feeds You
"Now, can I give you this or are we going to have a repeat of yesterday?"
Hero almost snarled at the placating tone. The fucking nerve. Even if they had felt inclined to respond, the muzzle stopped them short.
Villain heaved a long suffering sigh. "Your other option is to be sedated and tube fed. Now, I don't particularly want to do that. I don't think you want it either. But that is the direction we're heading if you don't pull your head out of your ass."
Hero snorted. They would've folded their arms childishly if they weren't already contained in a straight jacket. They weren't about to take anything from Villain willingly. Their kindness meant nothing anymore.
It used to mean the world.
Villain scrubbed at their face. With a huff they got comfortable on the floor, a small distance from where Hero was chained to the wall. "We can't keep this up." The sober change in tone felt like a gut punch. The villain's voice shook gently. "You know you're killing yourself, yeah? And for what? Pride?"
Hero's baleful gaze swung to them at that.
The villain actually smiled at them. Small and watery but it was there. Hero's heart twinged at the sight. They looked back down to a loose thread in their sweatpants.
"There you are. You almost had me convinced that you were already gone." Villain's voice was a heart wrenching mix of grief and hope. Hero felt exposed, far too transparent.
"Let me feed you," Villain half ordered and half offered. They reached out, hands stopping just short of the muzzle.
Hero jerked away, even if their skin tingled at the thought of being touched gently.
Villain's soft demeanor fell, revealing the monstrous strength and determination of them. Everything the hero had once admired, loved, now used to made up their own personal hell. "Fine. I tried the nice way. Now we do this my way."
The hero roared, muffled, and burrowed into the corner of the padded cell.
"Oh, stop the dramatics!" Villain huffed, almost fond. They clamped indomitable hands around the hero's ankles and yanked. With another muffled cry, Hero was dragged out from the corner, falling flat on their back. They flailed their legs, desperate. They got a lucky kick in at the Villain's jaw.
Their face went cold, voice dropping low and dangerous. "That is enough. You are going to eat, willing or not. I am not going to sit here and--" they shifted, tensing, voice cracking with emotion, "--and watch you die." They shuddered, stuffing the softness of them back inside the lethal exoskeleton.
The villain unlocked the muzzle, lingering to brush fingers where it had bitten into skin. Hero wanted to turn away. They felt transfixed. Their skin buzzed at the touch treacherously. Images of the villain tangled on the couch with them flashed unhelpfully to their mind. The villain had been a great partner. Until they weren't.
Hero stretched out their jaw, begrudgingly grateful for the relief.
The villain retrieved the forgotten food container and sat next to them. Hero clamped their mouth closed again, muzzle or no.
Villain rolled their eyes and breathed in like they were shoring up their parience. They probably were.
"Silly me. I thought we were done doing this the hard way." They gave a questioning quirk of an eyebrow.
Hero gave a challenge of a look back.
A smirk curled Villain's lips. "Okay, love." They set the food back down and dove, faster than the hero could react.
After a very one sided scuffle the Villain had Hero pinned against the wall and perched on their lap, legs straddling their hips.
They leaned in and nipped at Hero's ear. "Be good for me."
Hero tried to squirm away and had nowhere to go. "Fuck you," they said, breaking their silence.
An incredible softness touched Villain's eyes before disappearing as fast as it came. "Only if you eat your vegetables."
Hero glared and Villain laughed, the brightest sound either of them had made in weeks.
Hero still put up a fight not to eat but it was one they lost. Villain was slow and steady and played dirty (pinching, holding Hero's nose, even teasing them with their hips).
"Was that really so hard?" Villain asked, pressing a kiss to their cheek.
Hero did their best not to melt into it but they were so tired of fighting. So tired of being alone. So tired of this stupid game of chicken.
Hero felt their face burn, tears springing to their eyes.
Villain faltered. A hand reached up to brush hair from Hero's face.
"Stop it."
"Stop what, love?"
Hero could've screamed. "Stop pretending you care!" They meant to sound cold and scathing but it just came out broken.
"I--" Villain stopped. "I'm sorry, love."
"Stop calling me that!" Hero spat, the tears falling in earnest now that the dam had broken. "You don't get to call me that!"
The villain flinched.
The Hero's chest shook with sobs now. "Don't you get it? You chose supervillain. You betrayed me. Stop trying to eat your cake and have it too. You don't get to have both." They felt like stale, half eaten birthday cake.
"Okay. I'll go. But there's one last thing." The villain carefully reattached the muzzle. "Don't move, okay?"
And then they leaned in and hugged the hero. Hero's nerves lit up electric at the touch, freezing them in place. It was suffocating. It was lifeblood. It was humiliating. It was water in a desert. They jerked, flailed, screamed through the muzzle. But the Villain didn't waver. They fell limp. They'd never admit it to themselves but it felt like everything they didn't deserve but wanted and couldn't have.
They burried their face in the villain's shirt. They could have it for a moment. They could forget the betrayal and all the hurt and humiliation for a moment.
Too soon, the villain gently extricated themselves. "I have to go." Villain stood to leave, empty food container in hand. They paused at the doorway. "I am sorry. I never wanted...this."
Hero stayed slumped against the wall. They just wanted it all to go away.
The villain stayed frozen for a beat. Then they disappeared, an expert at leaving the hero hanging when once the hero had relied on them like air to breathe. It definitely was nothing like yesterday's incident and the hero had no idea what to do with it.

"It's time to call it, Medic," Hero said. "You've done everything you can."
Medic was dishevelled from having done CPR alone for the past thirty minutes. It was a workout and a half, but they couldn't stop. They couldn't let Whumpee die. They just couldn't. "Another round of epi, I need another round of epi—"
"It's been three rounds. Medic, stop."
"No, there's still a chance—"
"Even if you did get a heartbeat, Whumpee is brain-dead. Medic, it's time to stop."
not to just post the thirteen most stressful seconds of the movie out of context but I really like the vocal performance here, the shrieks and breathing getting a wheezy sharp quality makes it sound really authentically panicked
not to like. make this Worse™ but this is exactly how you sound when being chemically restrained. the adrenaline in your body vs the rapid-release sedatives make your body a disaster. brain in panic mode, body in shut down. it's terrifying. your brain tells you to hyperventilate while your body doesn't let you. ryan gosling nailed the sounds and it frightens me so.
whump prompt:
whumpee being whumper's long lost, unrecognizable now, kid.
but whumper only realises that once the harm is already done.
how do they react? does it change anything? do they just move on? or... do they, perhaps, every now and then, take a look at whumpee's face and think...
"...i did all that to my child."
The pure, primal fear Whumpee feels after so long in captivity/being tortured. They’re being rescued, Caretaker and their team approaching.
No, no, fuck. No—
Whumpee scrambles back, eyes wide and breaths shallow. “Don’t— don’t..” They stammer, every muscle tensed with adrenaline and fear. Too close— too close now! They scramble to the side, dodging past Caretaker and team and making a beeline for the door. They can’t think, can’t breathe can’t anything when all they see is that door. Away from these people. Then suddenly they’re on the floor and there are hands hands hands pulling at them and touching their face and patting their leg but they can’t think of that. Just out. They need to get out— up, away from them. They struggle and try and get up, hardly comprehending where they are, just that they have to get away.
Eventually, Whumpee is held down until whatever primal instinct that overtook them has gone, or at least softened. They are completely exhausted, eyes dazed, shaking like a leaf. Quiet. Like a subdued wild animal.
