Monobutt May: Pepper and Kyta
Pepper loves big things. And she likes making things big. Especially herself and her familiar, Kyta. While Kyta won't admit to it, he absolutely loves it as well, as his scientifically-named "doohickey" that floats over his back betrays his attempts to hide it.
Not using "That Word" but if you're interested, go here! I'll be looking through every request and creating a queue. Doing something a little different this time, lets' see how it works out.
poverty, video games, and success
It just kinda hit me that what's in my head and what's in my heart are different when it comes to my personal judgement of my own art.
In my head, I've been asking, "Am I a good artist?"
But in my heart I think I've actually been asking, "Am I good enough for other artists to approach me? Or at least good enough to not seem like I'm beneath other artists who I want to talk to?"
And it really sucks because I want to be someone other artists of varying skills can approach. It's still a confidence thing. I want to feel confident enough that I can talk to other artists who I see as better than me and maybe even do trades with them. But I don't want others to feel like I will look down on them for being early in their art journey.
Been playing a lot of Deadlock lately, and felt inspired to draw one of my favorite lil' guys. Rem loves his pillow. :3
this is some horror movie shit
#Jesus is a reverse-Dracula #vis a vis appearing in photos
Examining the other evidence, we find:
Feeds other people his own blood
An affinity for crucifixes
Not only able to cross water but can also walk on it
Shows up uninvited in people’s houses Can’t turn into a bat
ok now i dont wanna be that guy but i feel like crucifixes were like, still pretty harmful to jesus actually
Happy Easter
He's being a bit fruity, but he's quirked up with a sweet drink so who can even blame him?
the belly is an erogenous zone I am tired of pretending it's not

A little late birthday to myself! Lots of cake to be had for sure. What am I on, 4, 5 cakes now? The baker is starting to give me stares, but hey, I'm giving him my business, right?
And a stretchmark alt for some self-indulgent fun.

hi! i really like your rendering and it really inspires me to have smoother and more realistic shadows. do you have a rendering tutorial or just general tips on how you achieve your rendering? thanks ^_^
Ye sure! I my process is starting with separating each body part and then shade them individually with a very soft airbrush with low opacity. After that I draw the shadows in areas occluded front the light. And blam, shading.
You can check my bsky if you want to look at some of my timelapse too.
I think I've been looking at AI's "failure" all wrong, and it concerns me.
I know it's fun to make fun of the fact that AI companies are operating at a loss. But on second thought, I don't think those companies care.
Just like Amazon, Google, Netflix, etc, I think these companies are operating at a major loss so that people become as dependent as possible on them. The goal isn't to make money. The goal is to make sure that people can't function without it. They see the science on people losing the ability to critically think and they take it as a win. And then, once every person and company is dependent on it, they'll jack up the prices, because people won't be able to live without it. Companies won't be able to operate without it.
So, right now, we cannot afford to become dependent on it. Don't use it. Keep making things yourself. Keep doing your own research. Pick up a pencil now and start learning to draw. Go online and find some coding tutorials. Don't wait until the companies have you bent over a trough and forcing you to pay for their slop.
TF Collar Idea
Okay! I had a tf idea, let me know if this is anything:
Magical permalock collar that floats around your neck, that allows trusted folk to transform you in any way they desire. The collar will remain on any form taken and cannot come off (there's not even a clasp). While wearing the collar, everyone who knows your base form will know who you are, even with a changed form. The collar can be pulled on or tugged on, but because it floats, it can never be tight enough to strangle you.
The collar adjusts in size to the new form and will move to the closest approximation of a neck if the form does not have a traditional head.
