‘Us’ Leaves SXSW Untethered, Jordan Peele Says Doppelganger Horror Shows How “The Evil Is Us”
After the screening, the film received an uproarious ovation and Peele took the stage again with the cast including Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Evan Alex, Tim Heidecker, and Elisabeth Moss. Peele immediately wondered if the crowd was thinking “What the f*ck?”

Adam Scott pulls a Daredevil in the first look at My Blind Brother, a comedy set to premiere later this week at SXSW Film Festival, which also stars Jenny Slate and Nick Kroll.
Directed by Sophie Goodhart, the movie tells the story of a handsome ladies man and near perfect athlete —who also happens to be blind— and his less handsome brother, whose role in life is to serve as his brother’s eyes, until they fall for the same woman. Zoe Kazan also stars.
