Misa Amane has a certain charm to her, in my opinion

I should've looked at the references more often. I've recently gotten some thoughts about her character, here they are:

Misa is the type of person to throw her life away for someone even when they never asked for it. It's pretty showing how she injected herself into Light's life and then refused to leave even when he was very neglectful. She needed some drive to keep her going and a boyfriend and his family (a chance to be loved) were that.

I don't think she cared about being Kira all that much, she was just grateful for justice delivered in her particular case. She didn't hold any ideological attachment to Kira-ing so she easily gave up the notebook and she didn't care for her life enough to regret quartering it.

Misa hoped the amount of sacrifices she's made would make Light fall for her and then she had to push down her disappointment when it didn't work. She wanted to be loved but settled for being needed
