Hey so what do you mean Sabrina’s wearing her dad’s jacket?? As in that’s most likely the only piece of her parents she has left after the police took in the rest for evidence??

I love how Sisters Grimm have so many messy romantic relationships. Henry had an ex that he wanted to elope with, before meeting Veronica. Titania and Oberon situation was clearly complicated. Jake and Briar don't get happy ending. Tom is aging and Cindy is not. Charming and Snow White have on and off relationship. Puckabrina pranking and constantly arguing. And forgive me for reminding, but Sabrina moving on from Puck to marry a more stable man only to run away from her own wedding.

I think it ties in with the fairytale subversion very well. Sisters Grimm is "Fairytales are real!!! But you wish they weren't". In TSG fairytales can be gross, they can be scary, they can be tragic. And romance being a very important point in a lot of fairytales, it makes sense to subvert it as well. Your first love may not be your true love, you may have disagreements in your relationships, you may have to make sacrifices, you may not be able to save the person you love.

But also love can change you and help you. And even in a time of war celebrating your love will bring hope.

what i love the most about communities around books that don't elaborate on chunks of a characters life, is its up to interpretation. so there are many versions of how sabrina couldve turned out as a teen, but I imagine like most of us who relate to her as a kid (totally not projecting 💀) she went down a similar pipeline..anyway here's my contribution 👐🏻
