Why do you not like your grandfather?

Her grandfather? As in Kazan, the man that brought ruin upon the Yamaoka name. The ruin that left the Yamaoka's destitute bringing the family curse to her father.

He was the reason that she had suffered. The reason she seeked revenge against those that caused pain. The reason deep down she felt pain and suffering.

There was no one at the campfire when Rin arrived. This was a good thing for Rin. Her presence usually scared off people anyways.

The fire crackled and burned as it always did. How she longed for the feeling of warmth on her skin again, to feel alive again once more.

Rin rested on the log looking longingly into the fire

She could hear the Spirit, even if the terror radius wasn’t a thing outside of the Trials. Her ghostly wailing and moans were indicator enough. But Rebecca didn’t stop. The campfires were supposed to be peaceful places, and even if a Killer visited, she would be polite.

“Hello. I don’t think we’ve ever been introduced. I’m Rebecca,” she greeted, holding out her hand as she walked properly into the firelight.

Rin turned to look at the newcomers, twitching as she always did. Her voice came out raspy and high pitched, "Hello?" A survivor talking to her was definitely different, "R-Rin Yamaoka."

She attempted to hold her hand out to shake Rebecca's. In the end in she almost smack it as she twitched. "Sorry."

Rebecca moved closer to look at the other girl. She looked so sad… and not just because she was dismembered and covered in broken glass.

“Do you need me to treat your wounds?”

Rin watched as Rebecca moved closer to her willingly. She was glad she wasn't offended by the accidental slap.

Rebecca asked if she could look at her wounds. No one had ever offered to help. She may be dead but the offer was genuine. "Y-Yes please. At least the glass." The glass she had tried to remove herself but could never successfully do it herself.
