The past can hurt. But you can either run from it, or learn from it.
Recovery is built from small moments of courage.
Your body deserves the same kindness you give to others.
[if you don’t want to read something venty you can delete this, no hard feelings <3] you haven’t posted in a while so idk if you’ll see this but i really appreciate your blog, i came across one of your posts and have just been scrolling on your blog and it’s really making me feel better. i’ve been having a really rough time for. well forever but especially these past several months. last summer i thought i got close to someone and i was so happy about it because it’s so hard for me to make irl friends and she made me feel like she cared about me even though i’m traumatized and sensitive and sad all the time and all that. and then she ended our friendship in a way that felt really abrupt and confusing to me. it’s been the better part of a year and i still miss her every day even though we only knew eachother for like 2 months (and it was a clean break, i didn’t even try to cling but still it’s so hard for me to move on mentally). anyway since then it has been so easy to feel like nobody could ever want to be close to me but your posts really helped me feel better in the middle of a spiral and im grateful
I'm not on here as consistently as I wish I could be but knowing that even my old posts are still reaching people makes me happy. I don't think some people truly realize how hard it can be to stop or even take a moment for ourselves during a spiral but you did it and that says a lot. I hope things become easier at some point and thank you for sharing your story with me. It may not make sense today but I hope someday you can find peace.
Thank you for doing what you do. I've seen a lot of people attempt to post positivity and anti anorexia stuff in the tags and honestly it usually backfires and makes me mad. This isn't preachy or judgy or whatever it's just. A nice lil post to break up the miserable self loathing scroll lol. The fact that there's no get out now before it's too late or hey you're bad for this or you have to stop... There's no pressure. Just a cute lil gif. It makes a difference even if it's just a small smile on a bad day and I love the idea actually and wish more people who tried to sneak stuff into the tags did it in such a stress and anger free way. It's not meant to change things just make them a bit easier. A little bright spot. And that's so much more effective than any other effort I've seen. Just thought that I'd say something because yeah. It's the least jarring and awful version of this that I've seen and that means a lot
This is everything. LIke, this is exactly what I was aiming for. I used to have the same exact mindset before things changed. I wasn't ready for change and the more people tried to make me stop, especially with anger or judgement, the more I relied on the ways I knew how to cope because its all I had. Thank you for taking a moment to check my post out.
Thank you for being a light in the dark
Some days, surviving is enough. Tomorrow can hold the healing.

No trigger warning??
I was looking up tags to use for my photos and realized that when i search up male eating disorder tags there isn't a warning about triggering posts or anything to offer help. This upsets me.
Your body is your home, not your enemy.
Recovery is possible. Healing happens one day at a time.
While I have you here I have a question, which is your favorite pokemon and why?
Be gentle with yourself as you would be with someone you love.
You are more than the thoughts that tell you otherwise.
