Episode one, Amethyst says the centipede monsters don't have gems and I think Garnet says that there must be a mother nearby. These monsters are corrupt gems, that must mean gems can in fact have babies... like without human intervention.
If Garnet is coded as a Black person, can Rose be coded as an Islander? I'm not sure which type specifically but like... I guess that would be up to interpretation?
