One of Twilight’s biggest flaws was always that um, how do I put this? It has these kickass supporting characters with these fascinating back stories and instead we have to pay attention to this truly boring couple instead of hearing about Jasper fighting in a vampire war, or Alice as a psychic girl in a 1920’s mental institution, or Carlyle as a vampire doctor trying to atone for all the murdering he did.

Or Leah as the ONLY BIOLOGICALLY FEMALE WEREWOLF IN THE WORLD, or that other vampire baby from South America.

Or pretty much anything beyond Bella and Edward staring at one another and crying.

I never really reblog my own stuff but this is still such an amazing sequence and I still think about it constantly, if you haven’t read Groot I really suggest it, it’s only 6 issues and they’re all fantastic

Groot’s come a long way from being a giant alien mad scientist tree-monster – introduced in Tales to Astonish vol.01:no.13, November 1960 – to being the cinnamon roll he is today!

(It had been the case that the Groot we know now was regrown from a splinter from that original Groot, but now it’s the case that the Groot we now know is a completely separate Groot from the Groot that terrorized that AMerican town 40+ years ago.)

listen i love women, i LOVE them. but if u r a feminist & believe that women are capable of anything, u also have to recognize that women are capable of being evil and sadistic and malicious. because the point of feminism is that women are human beings. they are not ethereal beings who can Do No Wrong. women make mistakes and they commit crimes and they hurt people. blindly praising all women for being perfect is actively harmful to people who have been hurt and abused by women and also to women as a group because we are NOT perfect! we are human and that is the whole damn point my dude.
