Hi all! 

I've been gone an awfully long time and I want to keep on role-playing as Delphia. However, because of the amount of time that has passed I wanted to have a new start! 

I've re-made this blog in the link above and I will re-follow all of you. (:

The only thing I really need from you is to tell me whether you wish to start afresh with your characters relationship with Delphia or if you want to keep it the same. Skype, as always, is available on request. I love you all and I hope we can still roleplay or talk. I'll queue a couple notices like this and check back for any inboxes.

[ Well excuse you. You could exert some effort, Delphia, in (at least!) pretending to put forth your best manners in his presence. Is that too much to ask? Do government officials inspire no respect, these days? No – do not answer that. It was a rhetorical question, and Mycroft truly cannot spend any of his energy on caring about your answer, whatever it may be. ]

       “Do I? Well thank you for informing me of that fact. I was rather unaware of it until this moment. Although I suppose I am to understand that liking, in this instance, is a fairly loose term. .”

[ The Smile she offers is slow, catlike in its defiance of propriety and respect. Her hands, buried into the baggy pockets of her charity store jeans shake with an old familiarity despite her obvious amusement with the prim and proper man before her. ]

"Where's all this negativity coming from? Still pissed about Scotland, eh?" [ Her tongue hits against the roof of her mouth as she talks around her enjoyment. ]

"I bet you were hoping they'd vote 'yes'. If only because you assumed they'd be scrambling over Hadrian's wall begging to come back thereby inflating your already miles wide ego."

        “I must disagree. There is absolutely nothing to like about a high-functioning drug addict, Delphia.” ( … O h  wait.)

[ She snorts as unattractively as she does most things; with an almost brutish sense of entitlement to be as uncouth as she possibly can at every given moment. ]

"Clearly humour isn't a strong suit for you."

[ A pause is given, one untamed eyebrow arching before she continues. ]

"And you seem to like me perfectly fine."

[ A short, uninterested glance to the right as she sets down her mug of over-priced, luke warm coffee. ]

Prick.

[ She's willing to ambiguously leave it at that; if only to let the memory fester for the next week and provide countless hours of bitter amusement. But the weed of a woman across the coffee shop looks particularly uncomfortable with the use of the word and an indignant need to justify her actions causes Delphia to succumb to offering a delayed clarification.

A long, thin finger reaches over to tap vaguely at the bottom right of his sheet of paper. ]

Prick. To make a small hole in something; to pierce lightly. It's eight down.

[ It would be easier, she thinks, to simply not tell him. There's no pro's, really. She won't get paid and by the look of him (thin face, slim, arrogant nose and a curve to that mouth that had her grimacing) she won't be thanked, either. But the guilt in her bones rattles the marrow and she's reaching for the dropped wallet and calling out to him before she has a chance to think. ]

Excuse me. [ Louder. Louder. ]

Excuse me! Dude! [ She hurries to catch up, holding out the discarded item. ]

You dropped your wallet. Would you like it back or should I just pawn the leather?

        [ There’s a pause, as she considers this very carefully. They’re both sizing each other up; whether or not that’s a conscious decision, she doesn’t wanna think about it. ]

                I wanna know exactly what — it costs.

[ It’s so vague, she already knows exactly how Delphia’s going to react before she even closes her mouth. ]

[ Her mouth parts slightly, tongue tapping against hard enamel. She wants to laugh. And scowl. But more importantly she wants to be able to do both right now at the same damn moment. ]

Depends. 

[ She shrugs, and it isn't an easy move; it's calculated and suspicious and slow. ]

On the wound, duh. [ A stockbroker's grin. ]

On the urgency. On how much you annoy me. Et ce tera, et ce tera.

[ A pipet filled with blue fluid in one hand and a petri-dish in the other; she's hunched over her desk, glasses secured at the bridge of her nose. Delphia barely glances at the stranger as heavy footsteps sound and pause at the door. ]

You're getting mud on my floorboards.
