I can't remember WHO posted about this on twitter yesterday but it was something about Heiskanen-Lindell being maybe the best shutdown pairing in the league right now (right now being 10/27/25), so I went on moneypuck this morning (10/28/25) and like...

Shot Attempts or Corsi For% (this is the "best" way to measure possession, which isn't saying much because it's not a great way to measure it):

So like, I'm not DISAGREEING with whoever said that on twitter - but I dunno if you can really make that case.

That said:

Both the Heiskanen-Lindell and Harley-Lyubushkin pairings are top 20 in goals%.

I dunno, I've seen a lot of folx on twitter and hockey discords freaking out over the Stars dpairings and I still have a LOT of questions and concerns but like... these underlying numbers aren't tragic (okay that Corsi For of 55-46 is pretty close to tragic).
