My feelings exactly 📷✨@emmybush (at Shakespeare On The Hudson)
Magic is in this wind✨ thank you @imhebert (at Esalen Institute)
Solo adventure down the California coast feels a little something like... (at Cafe Gratitude Santa Cruz)
I don't know of any other mega ad agency that would let me start my own meditation program, write, record and present raps to new clients, take a multi-month sabbatical to travel the world, wipe out entire walls with word magnets or any of the very many other antics I've proposed and been supported in in my 3ish years at R/GA. Today I'm walking away feeling abundant in all that this place and these people have taught me. I am so grateful for what we have created together. Now it's time to start something new. #Freerange #Freelance 🐣 (at R/GA)
My little black magick 🔮
My future self wuz here 💌 Everywhere I look, signs👁
"Things become complicated only when we think about them" A.W.
We danced to an Elvis Presley cover band in Nashvegas proper then closed down karaoke at a Christmas themed bar in a straight up double wide trailer. Right when we walked in, the song Sam and I have been singing to each other for over 10 years came on. I had the last song in the place and a saxophonist came out of nowhere to accompany me with some crazy brass beats. Impromptu porch dance party and cookie dough by candlelight ended the eve. Needless to say, the magic was fuego. (at Nashville, Tennessee)
There are more dimensions to me than little ol' three.
As above Baba, so below Baba. 3D Godheads seeing 2D Godheads in the land of life, death and the space in between. #India (at Varanasi, India)
Then we went to Narnia.
Still not sure how this place is real. Our last morning in Bagan included a sunrise exploration of a 14th century monastery where we spotted a stunning dead owl, followed by a meditation deep inside a cave with a very sweet old monk. Such a special place. 📷✨ @melissssssah (at Bagan)
Pictured above: a solar eclipse sunrise, a hot air balloon eclipsing the eclipse, princess pagodas and a little white alien flare watching the whole thing go down. (at Temples of Bagan)
"Where will you be for your birthday? I'm coming" do friends like this exist in the world? Beyond grateful to explore the edges of the earth with @melissssssah. There are over 2,000 temples here in Bagan and we plan to say "Mingalaba" to pretty much every single one. (at Temples of Bagan)
The 2 million steep steps to get to this epic cave are basically the perfect parallel metaphor for my 24 hour stopover in Malaysia. A trumpet player filled the place with vibe and made everything ok again. (at Batu Caves Murugan Temple Malaysia)
Vibing on the spiritual richness of India, I made a shotgun decision to shift my next destination from Vietnam to Burma. I arrived on my birthday and headed straight for the miraculous Shwedagon Paya. Here, I'm following the tradition of pouring water on the Buddha planetary post that represents Saturday, the day I was born. Afterwards, a high ranking visiting monk was holding a ceremony and randomly invited me to sit next to him during it. People were visiting him in numbers, bowing to his feet as the other monks chanted around him. I was loving every moment of it but was distracted by how hungry I was having just arrived from hours of travel without eating. At that moment, the monk seemed to have read my mind and offered me a plate of delicious food that seemed to manifest out of thin air. Astonished, I took that as a sign to stick around and let hours of visitors unfold before me. I gave out unicorn stickers to the kids which was ridiculously fun, and people would walk up to me and say things like "now you can see the world sparkling like diamonds," then walk away. One woman (obviously with no way of knowing it was my birthday) introduced me to her mother, told me it was her birthday and it was always her dream to come to this golden place of worship. Think I made the right call. May we all March Fo(u)rth. (at Yangon, Myanmar)
