semi-hiatus
Ok, being without power the last four days because of hurricane florence made me realize I prob need to make a notice of my semi-hiatus. I haven’t had the time to put in on my blogs as I would like, so I feel like this is the best decision until things clear up.
I am not leaving by any means, this is just a polite heads-up. I will be lurking and reblogging, but all RP activity will be at a stand-still. As always, I love my followers and especially my RP partners. You guys rock 4 life.

Giles hadn't put much thought into the unanswered calls. She figured Eric and her had their moment. So the fact he had been able to track her down made his sudden appearance all the more intriguing. "If you've bothered to come all this way, you might as well come in." She moved aside, still holding the door with the hint of a smile growing.
For weeks, my muse has been gone. They haven’t been home, haven’t answered the phone, and didn’t bother to tell anyone where they were going. Now, they just showed up at your muse’s doorstep. Put your muse’s reaction in my askbox.@theinfiltrator || accepting: YES
Unsure whether she was going to slap him, shove him around, yell at him, Eric had actually been afraid to find Giles. But she was surprising him once again: by inviting him in as if nothing had happened. As if he hadn’t been away for weeks on no end without as much as a note. With a soft and bashful smile he entered her home. “Ye’re not mad’t me?”
theinfiltrator:
Giles had opened the fridge, her back to Eric as he entered. Her eyes scanned the many options, and rolled at his words. Leaning in, she grabbed a couple of vanilla pudding cups, and mindlessly began to pull out a random meal.
With a sigh, she faced Eric and put the desert on the white marble counter.
“Ok, I’m mad,” she agreed, waving one hand in frustration. She slid them both into her back jean pocket, and shut the fridge door with a kick.
“I thought I was pretty clear. Why are men so dense, and thick-headed?” she mimicked. Giles crossed her arms, frowning up to the ceiling.
“Wasn’t it you who said you wouldn’t say no to going out for food or drinks with me?” Returning her squint to Eric, Giles shook her head. “What’s that, if not a date?”
Her eyes darted to the clock behind Eric, widening a bit as she realized her parents were due home. Turning, Giles grabbed one of the pudding cups and extended it to Eric.
“So? Date, or crappy desert?”
There it was. She was mad. Of course she was, though he didn’t quite understand why. He hadn’t given her a real reason to be, had he? The thief frowned as he watched her, his gaze dropping to the cup she was offering him, then back up to meet Giles’ gaze. So this was what it all was about. She was calling it a date - he just called it ‘going out’.
“Uh…well…date.” Was there a need to discuss this and risk another fit of hers? Even if he wanted to make sure that this wasn’t a date, because in his eyes a date was something entirely different. “Look…men are…well, ye gotta give us a bit more hints, okay? We’re not the smartest species, and ye lasses are quoite confusing, too. So when those two worlds collide, it’s…well, it ends in disasters and misunderstandings. A’righ’?”
Before Eric had finished speaking, the crappy desert in question was returned to the counter, and Giles had ahold of his hoodie’s sleeve. This was in part for balance as she slipped her heels back on, and partly so she could tug him away to safety. What people didn’t know wouldn’t hurt them, after all.
“Yeah... Right. Alright,” she offered, only somewhat sure of what she was agreeing to. “So let’s go,” Giles insisted, half-dragging the man behind her, back out the door. “And we can be as direct and clear with each other as possible, so we can break the vicious cycle,” she managed as a joke, with a little smile thrown behind her shoulder towards Eric.
