As I venture into my fourth attempt at honor mode, I found some comfort in drawing my very first Tav gone Durge.

Unlike Orin, Nox enjoys practicality over aesthetics when it comes to work.

"They warned me to stay on the path, and I tried-- I really did. But the clouds came out of nowhere and the moon was gone! I could barely make out the trees or the creek at my feet. Then I heard breathing. Too close. Behind me. I turned and swung my axe without thinking and something fell: heavy, dull… wet. That's when I saw it: a slender figure with long robes, its thin limbs ending in dripping stumps where its hands had been. Its bulbous head lifted, and a single eye, golden as a coin and cold as metal, pinned me in place. It let out a shaky sigh and it contorted back; the stumps reshaped into arms that should not have been there again. It bent and gathered the severed hands to its neck. It smiled. I felt my legs again and I ran. It did not follow—it let me go."
