exciting update in between finishing assignments, just got into an argument about Freud being an anti-empiricist, in the comments of a comedic youtube video, we are THRIVING I feel ALIVE

#no but it was chill lmao #I'm just not... used to anyone I don't know arguing with me on the internet... like they said my idea was idiotic... I guess bc like #most people I know on the internet know I'm studying psychology in grad school so are kinda conciliatory towards my views assuming #I have read and learned more on the subjects in most likelihood even if they don't necessarily agree with my points #whereas to randos on youtube they are assuming I'm some random teenager who thinks she knows everything

truly the concept of like ...showing kids diverse characters in an educational setting really can just amount to “hey these are people that exist that you might see out in the world. it’s not nice to laugh at them. do you have any questions?” and some people are like no!! kids can’t know about people!!
