Whats with all the monster-humanoids and things like tisso utahs and mutated dinos?? What does this have to do with the isle? From what I know its a dino/human survival game so I'm kinda confused about all the mutated things

The Isle has a deeper storyline and lore that’s only now being implemented into the game. Some of this lore surrounds the mutated creatures, known as “strains”, that appear from time to time.

There are plans for it to be in the future, if all goes well! Development is currently focused on the windows build but Mac and Linux builds are planned.

It’s so funny how early 2000′s crime shows always have the suspect who doesn’t have an alibi because they were “alone at home” that night. Like bruh, if I’m home all night there’s all kinds of proof of that being the case: chat logs on Discord, browse history on Firefox, watch history on Youtube and I bet Steam also saves records of what you were playing at the time.

Also brings up the potential plot thread that a crime investigator suspecting me of something would not necessarily interview my closest relatives, but instead would end up chatting with some French guy who can prove that I was in his pack of Utahraptors hunting some Maiasaura at the time of the crime.

Playing with an idea I had around the neurotenic strain that’s supposed to be in the isle. Befor being developed into jellyfish-like electromagnetic monsters, they began as translucent proto specimens of dinosaurs developed for research when looking to observe real-time effects of genetic manipulation, pathegins and biological development.

This specimen died prematurely. time to find out where development went wrong. Drawn in Procreate inspired by ‘the isle’
