Also I have been in quite a few fandoms and the 1st rule is always not to piss of the Brazilians bcs that are a force to be reconned with. They are lovely people and you can have really a lot of fun with them online but they are a bit extreme, they don’t do things halfway, so it’s really totally in their caracter to ask these things from alexia 😅

As we’ve just seen today, Alexia does post. When she’s bored as fuck, probably. And she definitely has a team, now, organising her posts, which is fine, because she’s promoting herself as a brand. If she just wants to post silly videos where she’s getting pecked by birds every once in a while and then drop from the face of the Earth during the season, fine by me. She rarely posted even when she was at Barça. I just find the constantly demanding of content kinda boring and annoying, after a while. But that’s probably just me.

I’m the anon with the knee that didn’t hold up. I don’t really know a lot either either I play in the lowest league of my country so amateur football (I’m sure an professional wouldn’t have to wait for 6 weeks to get seen by a orthopedic doctor) but it’s still fun

6 months?! That’s insane that they made you wait that long. Is it a very bad injury? I hope you can recover fast.

I play with a few friends, nothing serious, no leagues, no teams. It makes for a good evening every once in a while. It’s very fun.

Yeah football is just like any other sport. It’s not guaranteed that your body (or parts of it) won’t give up on you, even if you train religiously. I wish there was a way we could all keep our knees and ankles safe.

You did not come off as mean and I agree with you, anyway. I know that’s what she is doing and that that is her objective but it still makes my blood boil some days. Other days I’m fine with it because she has the right to do that since she is who she is and I actually prefer that it was a move dictated by that reason and not out of “love” for another club. But some days I hate it, especially because she’s decided to donate her influence to such a woman. That is all.

I have to say this once to get it off my chest and I don’t care if I get hate for it: the mere sight of Alexia wearing that shitty LCL jersey, and the thought of her playing for them, makes me fucking nauseous and disgusted.

Today is one of those days where I don’t respect the fact that Alexia chose to leave. May Kang’s money treat her fucking well. May she be happy with dumb English journalists gifting her scones and tea bags. May she be proud of Ballon d’Or articles saying that LCL is so good and worthy they finally “persuaded her to end her 14 years spell at Barcelona”.

So much for that “I’ve emptied myself”, uh? When the same press that’s hyping you up it’s also undoing all of the work you’ve made to save your credibility. Compromises, I guess.

It was great! I thought I was going to die and be out of breath after 5 minutes but instead my training held up and I survived and I was very very happy. The last time I played football I was like twelve. It was a lifetime ago.

I wish they so called journalists would let go of Alexia's departure. She left and that's it. No point in writing 500 articles about her and how Barcelona will suffer and not be the same without her. She left, everybody was devastated but wish the journalists would focus on growing the fucking league instead of revisiting the same topics again and again.There are so many new players in liga f, so many problems and areas that need improvement. I am going to sound harsh but Alexia, Mapi, Ona and Salma leaving liga f is not the end of spanish woso. There's a ton of talented spanish players young and old that deserve recognition. Journalists should focus on them. Interview them, make some videos, player profiles. I don't see the nwsl focusing so much on the wsl like liga f does. Embarrassing behavior from the media.

The point is that these journalists are lamenting, among other things, the fact that Liga F is being hurt by Alexia leaving but it wouldn’t be so if they knew how to do their job, which is to valorise and promote and hype their own league instead of writing about how many times Alexia has sneezed in England so far. Interview Spanish players. Present them to the public. Promote other teams apart from Barça. But nope. Because that doesn’t generate sensationalism. People don’t click. Spanish “journos” feed the machine instead of making their own league appealing. And the machine wants misquoted, inaccurate articles about Alexia taking a shit before training at Bromley so that everyone can get rabid about it. That generates lots of clicks.
