Daniel was a little too determined to talk to Sydney that day. He didn’t know why, but even if he had started having some feelings for her, he felt overly bugged that they stopped being friends, after what happened. It was probably his fault-he didn’t handle it really well. He found an excuse to storm out of class, supposedly going to the bathroom. He walked out in the parking lot and slowed down his pace, as he saw the girl getting out of the car and leaning on it. He took a deep breath and rolled his eyes with himself, feeling rather pissed that this was actually making him nervous. “Syd”, he called her, as he moved in front of her and leaned on the car’s door, as well. “Hey”, he smiled.
“Daniel! How have you been?” Sydney half yelled, putting on her best joker smile. She was acting strange and overly-confident and she didn’t even know why. “So... you wanted to talk?” she said taking a long breath and adjusting her posture so she could stand up straight. She was watching a TED Talk earlier that day about our body, movements and reactions and it seemed that the great posture indicates strength and confidence, and she clearly wanted to pass the feeling that she was like that.
