Mark Regev loses his cool in classic interview with Jon Snow. New mind-reading technology lets us see what he's thinking.
"Three hundred or so children -- they were incinerated to death; phosphor bombs were thrown indiscriminately over Gaza. Everything these people wanted to rebuild, rebuild and rebuild was destroyed again. This state invaded in 1978, again in 1982, again in 1993, again in 1996, again in 2006, and 2008, and it always destroys, destroys and destroys. And then these satanic narcissistic people throw their hands up in the air and ask, āWhy doesnāt anybody love us? Why donāt our neighbors want us to be here?ā Why would they?" - Norman Finkelstein

"Peace and greetings upon those who are reading this. You may or may not be aware of the state the Palestinians are in. If not, please check the brief video out: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10152114554856707 Innocent children, women, and men are being attacked and murdered by bombings carried out by the state of āIsraelā, which are taking place in the densely populated areas of āPalestine'. These Palestinians are being massacred in such a manner that they have nowhere to seek shelter, nor anyone from whom they can seek help. Animals are treated much better, yet these people have had their basic human rights stripped from them for DECADES. Is this what they get for opening their arms and welcoming Jewish refugees into their country? Robbed of their property, money, and most importantly their LIVES. I ask you, how is this suffering right?Ā Torture that we cannot imagine and much worse has been taking place for a very long time. āIsraelā seems to think it can act however it pleases and play with the lives of innocents, just because they can. At the end of the day before the colour of our skin, our religion, or our language; we are HUMANS. So, I sincerely request you prove that you have some humanity left in you and spare a few minutes of your time to sign this petition, to stop the atrocities and oppression that is taking place on these people. Remember, time never waits for anyone, today it is them, and tomorrow it may be us. So, please sign and spread this message. Freedom is a right that every human should have."

She is young. She is pretty. She is a university graduate and a computer engineer. She is also an Israeli Parliamentarian - and the reason why I am on the brink of burning my Israeli passport. Because behind that wide-eyed innocent face lurks the Angel of Death.
The Jews say they are fighting Hamas and fighting gunmen while all the bodies we have seen on television are those of women and children.

It is easy to stay in our own cocoons, itās warm and feels niceĀ Ā but to blossom into a butterfly of human understanding and empathy, we have to leave these shells that we have created.Ā With the way our cities are built, you can live your whole life in Helotes, Stone Oak, Alamo Ranch, or any of our suburbs or higher end areas and never really see true poverty, homeless people, or struggle other than the 10 car wait at Shipleys. This is of course relative, because it is getting hard for the struggling middle class but most of us, go to bed full, have clothes and although we arenāt driving Mercedes, we have vehicles that work.Ā This creates a problem because it is almost impossible to put yourself in someone elseās shoes if you have never seen their shoes. It is easier to support the side you see when you have never experienced the other. It is easy to support a ban on feeding the homelessā when you have never dealt with the homeless. I mean it makes a little selfish sense, you are supporting homelessness by feeding them and they create trash. If you actually went out and interacted with homeless people, you will meet some bad apples, but not every person that is homeless wants to live on the streets and create trash. And if we are worrying about job creation, there you go, pay some homeless people to clean up the city, this will encourage some type of stability and clean up downtown.Ā Secondly, We have all heard the whole, āpull your boot straps, raise yourself up, go live the American dreamā lingo. Although this is used to encourage people, it has also created this idea that, every person in our society has the opportunity to become a white-picket fence home owner. This leads to ideas that the poor are poor because they donāt work hard enough, they are lazy and donāt want it bad it enough. If we spent a little time with those who are less fortunate than us, we will realize that this is not true at all. We are products of our environments, starting from our homes and up.Ā Action items:Ā Get out of your bubble and get to know someone who did not grow up in a shell like your own.Ā I truly believe that empathy can cure hate, it is easy to hate/dislike or have viewpoints on something you do not know or have never experienced. The words āeveryā and āallā can never be used when exploring the many different lives of those around us.
This always fucking gets me.
Keep Palestinians living in Gaza in your prayers. They are looking under rubble for their loved ones or burying them all while watching the skies for their own safety.
Remember those in West Bank and present-day Israel, some of whom are living in fear of being kidnapped and burned alive, like 17-year-old Mohamed Abu Khdeir was, or attacked simply for being Palestinian.Ā
The above photos were taken today after family homes were pounded as Israel continued its aerial bombardment of Gaza, killingĀ at least 15 Palestinians - including children - and wounding 100.
Never stop searching for the truth and never stop spreading it once you find it. Hell will freeze over before Western media does so itās down to us.

Israeli soldiers routinely kill unarmed Palestinians. Letās end the culture of impunity by calling on the US and EU to authorize travel bans on commanders and soldiers implicated in extrajudicial killings.
