I would’ve just handed them a juice box and told them to sit in the penalty box of life until they could act like a functioning adult." He smirked, leaning in conspiratorially. "Hockey parents, though—they’re a whole different breed. I half expect one of them to show up next week in full goalie gear, ready to throw down over a missed offside call."

Atlas walking up to the car with a grin already tugging at the corners of his lips, let out a low chuckle at Killian’s theatrics. He leaned down, his hands resting casually on the edge of the door as he shot his brother an amused look. “Question is.” He said, smirking. “Do you have the stamina for ‘full-blown chaos,’ or are we going to have to carry your sorry ass home after a round of karaoke?” He cocked his head, scanning the night like it held all the answers. "I’m all for a little mischief. His gaze flickered to the sunglasses, and he raised an eyebrow. “Sunglasses after dark, huh? You planning on getting us into trouble before sunrise, or are you just trying to look cool while doing it?”

Stamina isn’t the question—you should be asking if you can keep up.” He tilted his head, feigning concern. “Second, the sunglasses? They’re not just for looking cool, although, let’s face it, that’s a bonus. They’re for shielding my eyes from the sheer amount of cringe I’ll have to endure when you inevitably butcher a karaoke classic.” He grinned, leaning forward. “And don’t worry about trouble—I’ve got a whole itinerary planned. Sunrise? That’s just the intermission.”

Teddy nodded agreeing with him " Yeah I think I kinda like it better than staying in Red Edge . Where it's sunny everyday and no hills or snow to sled on. This is awesome," he said. " Hell yeah we should. Maybe we should get the girls to ride with us. You think they'd come?" he asked him.

Killian grinned, nodding enthusiastically. "Hell yeah, we should! This beats sunny Red Edge any day—no offense to the sun worshippers. And as for the girls, I bet they'd be all in. Valentina? She’d probably be the one shoving us down the hill herself just to make sure we went for it." He laughed, shaking his head. "She's got that 'no hesitation' energy, you know?"

Killian leaned out of the driver’s side window, sunglasses on even though it was well past sunset, and flashed a grin as his friend approached the car. "So," he drawled, drumming his fingers on the steering wheel like he was auditioning for a movie trailer voiceover, "what sort of trouble are we getting into tonight? Mild mischief? Questionable karaoke? Or are we talking full-blown ‘call a lawyer and regret everything tomorrow’ levels of chaos?" He waggled his eyebrows dramatically. When she mentioned Friendsgiving, his brows lifted in surprise. "You’re going? That’s great! I mean, free food and people to laugh with—it’s hard to say no to that, right?" He hesitated for a moment before adding, "You’ll have a good time, I’m sure of it. And if anyone gives you trouble, just imagine them wearing one of your fancy dresses. Works every time." To be fair, Killian honestly wasn't sure if he'd be attending the Friendsgiving because of work issues but he made a promise to Val to be there and he hates disappointing her.

OH man, making me let out my inner nerd huh? Alright, well the James Webb Space Telescope absolutely blows my mind. Its ability to peer deep into the universe, capturing light from billions of years ago, essentially allows us to look back in time and study the formation of stars, galaxies, and even the origins of our cosmos. The precision and complexity of the engineering that went into building a telescope that can operate in such extreme conditions—unfolding in space, staying in the shadow of the Earth, and detecting incredibly faint signals—is nothing short of miraculous. The images it produces, with stunning clarity and detail, inspire both awe and a profound sense of how small we are in the vastness of the universe.

Looking at his friend, Killian gives her a small nod, "Seriously though if you ever need anything I'm here for you. Do you have any plans for Thanksgiving this year?"
