Proverbs 16:3
Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the LORD.
Lamentations 3:40
Repentance does not mean rationalizing your sin.The path to a fresh start and a clear conscience begins with repentance. First, we need to review every area of our lives, and then repent of every sin.
What does it mean to repent? It means three things: First, we take responsibility for our sin. Second, we turn away from those things. And third, we turn to Jesus and His grace and live lives that pleases Him.
Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.
Acts 3:19
Isaiah 26:3
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.
Living in these turbulent times has made finding moments of true peace challenging for all of us. Anxious thoughts about our future keep disturbing our minds. During these times of uncertainty, we should ask Jesus to redirect our anxious thoughts and replace them with His truths. We will experience newfound comfort knowing that our future is secure in His hands. God has a good plan for all of us.
Philippians 4:6-7 says, " Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. "
Psalms 56 3 states:
When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.
If you are struggling with uncertainty about your future, run to your Heavenly Father today. He holds your future in His Hands.
mercy you have never seen before
Jeremiah stood in the middle of devastation and still found something to declare. “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3v22-23 ESV). Not recycled or repeated. New, fresh and tailored specifically for today. God doesn’t give you yesterday’s mercy for today’s struggle. He meets you in real time with what you need right now. The mercy that carried you through yesterday’s failure isn’t the same mercy that will meet you in today’s weakness. His compassion is precise. It fits your condition, addresses your need and reaches into your moment with divine accuracy.
That’s why you are still standing. Not because you have been perfect, but because His mercy has been present. Every day you wake up, you are stepping into a mercy you have never experienced before. Scripture says, “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed” (Lamentations 3b22 KJV). If mercy had limits, you would have already reached them, but His mercy doesn’t run out. Think about the consistency of it. Every morning, without fail, without delay and without condition. While you were unaware, God was already preparing mercy for you. Before you made your first decision of the day, grace was already waiting. “He gives more grace” (James 4:6 NKJV). Not less, more.
Mercy and grace move together but they aren’t the same. Mercy withholds what you deserve. Grace provides what you could never earn. Together they cover your past, sustain your present, and secure your future. “As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God” (1 Peter 4v10 NKJV). Manifold means multifaceted. God’s grace doesn’t come in one form, it meets you in countless ways.
So don’t wake up expecting to be crushed by yesterday, expect to be carried by today’s mercy. Don’t define your life by your past mistakes, define it by God’s present faithfulness. His mercy isn’t generic, it’s personal. It isn’t distant, it’s daily. Great is His faithfulness. That means He shows up again, and again, and again. Not because you earned it, but because it’s who He is. So receive today’s mercy with gratitude. Walk in it with confidence. And let it remind you that God isn’t finished with you yet.
