Many people will be on an OCD compelled competition with their OCD to get their wardrobe filled out because they need to have all 500 helms whether they’ll ever wear them or not. It isn’t their fault. It won’t be like this forever.
Please, please, please take the time to eat a snack, drink enough, and take care of your personal stuff.
Please, please, please remember that no one is ignoring you.
Your role-play isn’t dying. Your partner/s and friend/s have not lost interest in YOU or your story.
PLEASE remember that whether it is this major patch or expansion itself that most of us have been through this before and that in the end, the dust will settle and things will be fine.
Prepare yourself mentally and emotionally for people just being a little quiet.
Ask if folks are up for discord or voice or just put on some upbeat music and try to enjoy exploring some of the new features yourself. And if they’re not, that’s okay.
All in all, take a breath. Remember that it is just as frightening and exciting for everyone else as it is you. And we’re all in this together. Be a pal, add encouragement to this if you can.
