this is a sad
I really really really love you guys okay and I really didn't want to close First Blood but I felt like I had to--we all generally did. And we wish I didn't have to but yes. I'm so glad I met all of you wonderful people and I hope we get to RP with each other in the future too, not just in FB but anywhere really it's a small world. And ugh it's so hard to let go but we have to but this isn't the end for us, it's only the end for this certain chapter and stuff and yeah. If you guys want you can totally follow me on Twitter since I'm kinda more reachable there than on Tumblr (which is abigailecters if you guys want to know) and aim (sansastahk).
I just really love you guys and that's all from me for now and yeah.

“When I have a chance, I shall thank him indeed.” Sansa said, a small smile on her face. She’d seen glimpses of Rhaegar Whiteash, but little more. He was a big man, intimidating, but she’d seen him interacting with Daniel and knew he had a gentleness, too. Still, she was somewhat nervous to speak to him. Her gratitude was great, but it was also wary. “Freedom is not something I had thought to have again so soon.”
She paused, lips pressing gently together. “Not just love, Lady Rebekah.” Sansa said, careful and quiet. “The need to be loved. I think it is a more powerful thing by far. For your heart can love so many, but what it truly needs is for someone to return that love as deeply as it is given.” Sansa shrugged, and looked away. She didn’t want to be imprudent, or imply that Rebekah’s family had not loved her. Surely they had, but they’d failed to show that to the Lady, that was also clear. “You did not want for money or jewels, my Lady. It is no shame to want something deeper, I hope.” Sansa reached out, tentatively touching Rebekah’s arm.
Rebekah watched her as she spoke. It was odd to see her speak so openly considered she barely spoke when she was in King's Landing. It was a good change. This was Sansa Stark she was speaking with now, not Cersei's puppet. But what it truly needs is for someone to return that love as deeply as it is given. Her heart clenched at her words. She didn't understand where all of this was coming from for a girl as young as Sansa, but she was grateful that she understood. Maybe they could become friends despite their house's differences.
"So the bird does truly sing," she smiled gently. "Where did you learn about love, Sansa? Is there someone waiting for you back home?" She didn't want to talk about her family or her brothers or the neglect she has experienced. She wanted to be distracted.

[smiles at him, her eyes quickly scanning him to look for any major wounds in need of treatment] I thought your wounds might need some mending. [she gestures for her handmaid to place the tray on the small table beside the bed] I’m sure no one comes out of a two-man siege without at least a scratch.
[glances at the maid she had brought in with her and smiles at them both politely before returning his gaze to Rebekah with a slight chuckle] You should see the other men. [jokes, the small laugh alone causing him some discomfort and winces] I– I’m afraid the bastard sliced my side open though. Excuse my language. [says though he’s clearly not remorseful about it]
You forget I grew up with boys. I'm quite used to that language. [looks at him, concerned, and walks over to side of the bed to sit, gesturing him to come sit with her] Let me see.

Sansa stirred mildly at Rebekah’s approach, turning over her left shoulder to greet her. “Of course, Lady Rebekah.” She scooted over gently, leaving room for Rebekah on the bench. Sansa was somewhat less wary of the girl now that she appeared to be entirely on their side (and Sansa didn’t blame her, she understood what love could do to your heart, and Rebekah’s family had never seemed to love her as the girl deserved). Still, she was careful around her, knowing the girl had a sharp mind and no patience for false pleasantries.
With this in mind and the removal of the heavy shackles of lies King’s Landing had forced upon her, Sansa spoke honestly. “I was surprised to see you that night. As my rescuer. I never properly thanked you, I was so shocked…” She glanced over at the blonde. “But after everything was explained, I understand why you did it.”
Rebekah sat beside her, her eyes studying the far seas before turning to face the Stark. They had never gotten the chance to know one another during their stay in the capital, but somehow she knew she'd like her. "There's no need to thank me, Sansa," she smiled at her. "It's the Lord Rhaegar you need to thank. He gave us all a shot at freedom." And now she was a traitor. All of them were. Traitors. She could just imagine what her father would say. He's probably disowned her by now, cursing her.
She couldn't help but smile a little wider. "It was foolish, what I did. I didn't have to escape. My family supplies the crown with half of its force and I could have had anything I ever wanted. And now I'm a traitor." She looked down at her hands, sighing silently. "But I guess love makes a fool of us all."

Dragonstone was not a beautiful place. Sansa supposed that was up for debate - they did have the water, and strong architecture, but it was all meant for protection, not aesthetics. And something about it all seemed so very cold. She’d heard that its Lord, Stannis, was a cold man. Perhaps he’d transfered something of that to Dragonstone. Even now that it was no longer his.
She could hardly believe it, that someone had stolen a castle to rescue Daniel and herself. Well, Sansa thought, and for the Targaryen princess as well. But here she was, a true traitor now. For if the laws were true, Stannis Baratheon was the rightful King of Westeros and she was occupying his castle.
But she couldn’t bring herself to care. She was safer than she’d been in months, what felt like years. Sansa wasn’t…happy, not yet, but she could see that it may come to her. There was a darkness still gripping her heart, a thirst for revenge and a hardness she had never expected to feel, but there was still hope. Hope to see her family and friends once more. And that kept her moving forward.
The castle was cold. She did not know if it had always been cold or if it were the lack of people occupying it. Or perhaps it was because of the sea. The Red Keep was near the sea too but it was never like this. Rebekah had to put on layers and wool stockings to warm herself. She would have spent the whole day just sitting in front of the fire and reading through books written about the dragons but she found those stories dull now. She was already living in a story that could possibly be written down one day. The Mikaelson traitor who ran away from her family because of love. Such scandal was not unheard of, but still she felt alone in it.
She decided to go on a walk. Rhaegar was occupied, probably with Daniel. She almost forgot there was another person in their company, and when she saw her sitting near a balcony over looking the sea she wondered if she was the reason why the castle couldn't keep its heat. Winter is coming after all. And she was the daughter of the North. "Lady Sansa," she began, approaching her. "Do you mind if I join you?"
Queen and Dragonknight | Flashback | Kol & Rebekah
Kol chuckled. ”I’d rather ask Littlefinger for Nik’s whore.” Kol had the unfortunate impulse to irritate. It had begun, during his childhood, as an attention-seeking game and had blossomed into a real talent, since. He knew of Nik’s covetous nature and liked little better than to tickle the monster until it roared. ”You know how very fond he is of sharing,” he said with his blackest sarcasm.
“I should love some wine, darling,” he responded. Wine was the better part of what got him through the loathsome days here which, he hoped, would come to a rather abrupt end quite soon.
Kol made an unpleasant face when she mentioned the prospect of growing old here. ”That makes two of us. Perhaps I should risk Father’s wrath and sail the Narrow Sea to find this silver queen and her hatchlings, after all.” He chuckled softly but he knew he wouldn’t do it. In all this world there was only one thing that he feared: Mikael. ”You could come with me. With golden hair like that, we might even be able to pass you off as some long lost relation and perhaps then she’d give you a dragon, just for the asking.” But his own jape died on his lips in unspoken yearning and he shook his head, sinking into a seat by his sister.
Rebekah rolled her eyes at the mention of the whore. "What is it about this little girl that you boys keep running after? I've seen better looking women. There's nothing special about her." She wanted to rip her hair off or burn it or both. She's already warned the little brat but her handmaidens still told her that they've seen her around the castle. What was it about her? Was it because she looked uncommon? Exotic? Rebekah feared she would never really know what men thought of. Probably nothing. Every girl was just probably a body to warm their beds and soothe their aching needs.
She poured herself and her brother a glass of wine and handed it to him. "I don't wish to pretend to be a dragon. That's more than dangerous." She took a sip of her wine. "Plus Father would have you exiled if you just run off. Or worse! Send you to the Wall to live your days without girls and money. You'll be a crow perched on there, waiting for the Others. You know him. He'd rather have you sent there than exiled. At least if you were a crow you'd still have honor."

I’m sure they will be. I only hope they are large enough to lay waste to King’s Landing. [flattens his hand out on the table before standing up finally so he can look at the map properly] Good. I hope to speak with him soon as well. There is much to be done now.
We will only know when they get here, I'm afraid. [looks down on the map again, her fingers outlining the lands of where Warmblood would be] What do you plan to do now, my lord?

[looks down at the table as well, tracing the location nearest to him with his finger] I’m sure things will pick up soon. Now that I hold Dragonstone and the Lady Daenerys travels across the Narrow Sea. [turns back to her] Have you spoken with Lord Rhaegar yet?
I cannot wait for the arrival of her and her dragons. They must be majestic. [sighs happily at the thought of them] And I have when I tended to his wounds. He's doing well.

[knocks on Rhaegar’s door with a handmaiden carrying a tray of things that might help cleanse and heal a wound standing behind her just in case he needed tending. she opens the door and peeks into his chambers] My Lord?
[groans softly as his fingertips brushed the dried blood from the wound on his back and quickly spun around when he heard his door open, quickly masking the sour look on his face when he heard her voice] Lady Rebekah, please… come in.
[smiles at him, her eyes quickly scanning him to look for any major wounds in need of treatment] I thought your wounds might need some mending. [she gestures for her handmaid to place the tray on the small table beside the bed] I'm sure no one comes out of a two-man siege without at least a scratch.

[walks up to the chamber of the painted table where she knew Daniel would be, her eyes immediately on the table mentioned, her fingers tracing the edges] My lord. How have you been?
My lady. [looks up at her, lifting his hand to stop the servant who was cleaning the healing cut along his back and dismissing him. smiles at Rebekah, and though it doesn’t quite reach his eyes, there is no malice there] I am as well as can be expected. How are you? I hope you are finding the castle welcoming.
[her eyes travel from location to location on the table, her hand stopping at Warmblood before she looks up at him] As welcoming as an empty castle can be. [chuckles a bit]

The Long Night | Solo Post
Their task was easy, wasn't it? Stay hidden. But where can you possibly hide in a small island like Dragonstone? Still, Rebekah and Sansa tucked themselves away near the castle, but not too near. Their task was not easy. Their task was to wait for them to come back and worry and pray. Their task was to hope that they would come out of the dragon castle alive and well. She prayed to the Seven, for both of the men's safety. She prayed that her Rhaegar would come back to her safe and sound. She prayed that Daniel would as well. She prayed that she and Sansa would find strength in each other. No, their task was not easy at all. Their task was to wait.
She had a dagger, just in case, to protect them. But what good would a dagger be against swords? The night was dark, she felt more dark now than it ever has been, and definitely longer. So they prayed. And prayed. And prayed some more. Surely the gods could hear them. Hers and Sansa's. She prayed and wished and hoped.
The darkness of the night was lightening. The sun was almost up and still there were no Rheagar or Daniel. She feared for their lives. She feared that Stannis Baratheon's men had captured them. It was silly, their plan. How can two men possibly take hold of a fortress as big as Dragonstone. She chatted about it with Sansa for a while. And at the corner of her eye there he was. Big and blonde and alive.
Rebekah almost cried when he held her, and she held him just as tight with arms weak and fingers shaking. They were safe. They've succeeded. They have taken Dragonstone. But most of all, they were free.
At least, she thought, for now.
Queen and Dragonknight | Kol & Rebekah | Flashback
Kol sank into the chair in Rebekah’s quarters unceremoniously. ”I detest this place,” he complained at her. ”No place has ever been more tiresome.” Kol rolled his eyes dramatically, dropping his head back against the wall behind him before sitting up, again. “Entertain me, sister.”
His signs of affection were, admittedly, somewhat bizarre, but this was one of them. Though bickering constantly as Mikaelsons were wont to do, Kol made few bones about the fact that he simply adored his little sister. And even their bickering, in its way, was affectionate. Kol still held dear memories of the two of them in their nursery - the closest in age - listening eagerly to stories - knights and princesses and kings and queens and dragons…But that was many years ago and all the dreaming was crushed, all the dragons dead.
Truth be told - though he was more than aware that he wasn’t her favorite - Rebekah was the only person in his life who would give him her undivided attention for any length of time. Elijah was always distracted by this duty or that and Nik was often out-and-out antagonistic, Henrik was a mere child, Mikael hadn’t a moment to spare for his middle child, and Esther was continuously minding her other duties until Kol simply got too out of hand. But Kol was still Bekah’s big brother and she loved each of them with her whole heart and her whole soul.
Abruptly, Kol jumped to his feet and paced over to where Rebekah was. ”When we grow old and this war is finished, remind me never to come back here.” Once, he’d dreamed of King’s Landing and its Red Keep as a harbor of dragons. Now, only lions prowled out here and the cats’ claws were barbed with venom.
"Entertain you, brother?" Rebekah quirked an eyebrow at his direction before going back to looking at herself in her mirror. She had to admit it was nice having Kol around. She preferred him over Niklaus these days. At least he wasn't giving out free stallion medallions to whores who deserve nothing. And despite their words, she knew he cared for her. Unlike Nik. No one really knew if he actually liked anyone or not. He was difficult and just thinking about him made her head hurt. And her heart, somewhat. "Don't you have other people to keep you entertained? Why not ask Lord Baelish for a whore of your own?"
She didn't like the idea of whores or the thought of them or the word whore. She particularly didn't like Lord Baelish either. There was something about him that made her skin crawl. And the way he looked at her was irking. Rebekah would just shrug it off but she made a note to herself that she would speak to someone about it--Elijah most probably.
Rebekah turned from her mirror once she was satisfied with the way her hair framed her face and walked to the nearest table, pouring herself a glass of wine. "I don't wish to grow old here, Kol." She sighed and looked over at him. "Would you care for some wine?"
take my hand, hold it tight | rhaegar&rebekah
[smiles wider at her response and steals another brief kiss from her, pulling away with a smirk and disentangles himself from her, knowing he needed to do that or he wouldn’t be leaving her room at all] I’ll try not to keep you waiting too long, m’lady. [grins as he backs away, still grinning impishly back at her]
[her smiles mirror his, widening as he widens his, feeling her stomach flip when he steals a kiss] Until then, my lord. [she greets him, her smile never leaving her face as he continues to back away from her]
take my hand, hold it tight | rhaegar&rebekah
[nods, taking in the information and committing it to memory as if she’d forget once he’d gone, and smiles at him] I shall wait ‘til then. [her hands cup his face and pats it once, smirking] As if I would let you leave without me. [brings his face closer to hers again, pressing her lips against his and kissing him once more, discovering that it’s slowly becoming one of her favorite things in the world]
[chuckles lightly and responds eagerly to her kiss, savouring the moment for he knew he wouldn’t be seeing her again until much later. he had gotten a taste briefly last night and he was sure it was something he wasn’t ready to give up now, if ever] Tonight then. [smiles at her as he pulls away, his expression unmistakably full of pure adoration for her]
[smiles up at him, positively sure that she was intoxicated with him and her feelings for him] Tonight. [she says it like a promise, because it is] I shall be here. Waiting.
