Coming out to my parents this week gulp

Decided a bit ago to come out to my parents at some point (trans ftm) and decided it's going to be this week and now I'm really fucking nervous lmao

I've told them before but they've talked me out of being trans multiple times and they're lowkey transphobic but also extremely uneducated on trans people and I think that's where it comes from rather than them being bad people?? I think they also have the belief that being trans will make me unhappy when it's actually the opposite and I just have to tell them that, plus make sure they know I won't just let them misgender/dead name me all the time and will call them out on it bc i know they love me enough to not kick me out or anything.

Also I'm going to tell them what I want to be called but I'm open to suggestion unless they outright say no to me being trans lmao and after that I'll tell my cousins/the rest of my family with whatever name I decide on

I've created a PowerPoint with all the relevant info and my thoughts because I don't want to miss anything that I just need to update and edit tonight/tomorrow and I hope I can convince them it's not just something they can ignore and that it can actually be a good thing haha

And an albeit dramatic but ultimately peak kind-of relationship? But when you're trans and you're queer and have all these internal complications and idiosyncrasies that you know deep down grate on other people or cause them to just Not Understand You or your motives, you feel like it'll be that way forever. Just always too much for someone, and I'm aware that's a pretty cliché post at this point, being "too much" but it truly makes you feel difficult. Not too complicated exactly, if you yourself understand who you are at least some of the way, but just- hard work. And it's a shitty feeling, to be thinking you're a hard person to love when it seems so easy for other people, and. Yeah.
