Hoo boy. It’s been a year since I’ve posted anything to SC. It’s been about that long since I recorded anything, too. It’s been FOUR!? since I did anything in Korean. Geez. I can tell my pronunciation has taken a hit, and I can *feel* how out of practice I am, but hey, at least I’m not sick for once (as far as I know). Behold, a rare day to myself appears - and the song stuck in my head is this one. Honestly, I didn't do the whole thing because I don't remember the rest of the words, lol. If I’m being honest, I’m not really sure I ever knew them. It’s a song from the k-drama Heartstrings, which I watched back when it came out. I don’t remember a ton about it, but its OST had some pretty cool fusion songs (of which this one is not). This one is basically a *really* super cheesy love song. It sure is catchy, though!

I want to sing. -_- I want to start recording again. -_- I don’t really know if I was any good to begin with... but I miss it anyway. I really do want to keep at it and get better at both singing and voice acting. To be honest, I’d like to learn to dance as well, but I have no idea where I’d begin with that. Problems: I have pretty much no time anymore (overtime at work), I’m never actually alone anymore, and I don’t own a microphone (although interestingly enough, I do own legit studio reference headphones now...). I guess these will be the excuses I give myself for now...

Jazzy af. I’m not quite sure how I feel about this soundtrack yet. I did notice, though, that if you strip down some of the heavier guitar tracks, there are leitmotifs from various Final Fantasy games (especially 13), Bravely Default, 4 Heroes of Light, and KH. So that’s pretty neat.

This is an acapella cover of the song that plays in the recent Steven Universe episode “Sadie’s Song”. First part is done in the style of Marcy (Olivia Olson), second in the style of Sadie (Kate Miccuci). I used [this] youtube video for reference.

Some part of me wishes I could say I didn’t try very hard and that I don’t care what anyone thinks. But that’d be lying. I tried as hard as my ADHD would let me concentrate on one thing, which was about two hours of trying to get my headset to work long enough to record it. The little clicking noises are it dying, I’d get rid of them if I could - apologies. If I can ever really fix the damn thing, maybe it won’t be 6+ months in between recordings again. Ha. :<

Status of twix prior to opening: not melted

Status of twix upon opening: suddenly melting ooze everywhere oh god they look like poops now why do I even want them anymore but I’m eating them anyway because I’ve already come this far even though I’m pretty sure onlookers now think I have no self-respect I’M COMMITTED GOD DAMNIT NO I WILL NOT PULL OUT christ one of them just broke and fell on the wrapper when I tried to bite it this is the most tsundere candy bar I mean i-it’s not like it wants me to eat it or anything b-baka

Bronchitis and sinusitis need to go away soon. Meds make me weird. But no, seriously, it’s been like two weeks and my nose has been bleeding nonstop for five days. I’ve done my time.

Oh, whaaaat? Apparently the Powerpuff Girls are coming back to Cartoon Network in 2016. It’s gonna be interesting to see what Nick Jennings (of Rocko’s Modern Life, CatDog, Spongebob, Adventure Time fame) does with it.

Ho hum. Got all the SR4 achievements except the broken one (rip, website)... guess it’s time to pull out the wiiwoo, update Mario Kart 8, and inevitably weep at 200cc.

Should keep me busy ‘til Hyrule Warriors DLC, though. q_q (I want the Termina map and giant cucco a little too much).
