boys are more trouble than they’re worth- obligatory zukka tea shop fic. featuring attempts at humor, minimal angst, and Chaotic Toph Beifong. (2/2) chapters

Broken noses & hot leaf juice- I put “i want these jetko to have a nice time in ba sing se is that too much to ask” on my plan doc and then i wrote it. just two boys being dumb. (1/1) chapters.

Oo-de-lally, golly what a day- The zukka robin hood au, featuring general banter and shenanigans, as well as less-than-ideal marriage proposals (1/1 chapters)

how many times do i have to say it?- jet survives and they find him later at the boiling rock. zuko is having a week. (1/1 chapters)

pyromania series:

Pyromania- Zukka ghost au, in which Zuko doesn’t remember how he died. Sokka decides he’s going to solve the mystery (and maybe get a date along the way) (15/15 chapters)

Molotov Cocktail- Oneshot that goes with Pyromania, focused on Azula (1/1 chapters)

Play The Game- Mailee Boiling Rock, with some pretty severe pining (5/5 chapters)

The Millionaire Waltz- Zukka modern au, in which both Sokka and Zuko refuse to be the first one to talk about their feelings (1/1 chapters)

Vienna- Azula and Zuko talk about their childhood three years after the war ends (1/1 chapters)

just a reminder that azulas hair arc is just as important to her character as zukos is to his

her first real intro draws attention to the perfection of her hair (“only one hair out of place”)

after ty lee and mai betray her, while she’s attacking the western air temple & zuko, her hair frays and she eventually pulls out her hairpin to catch herself on the cliff side, a hint at the self destruction she’s willing to endure to achieve her goal

and ofc when she becomes firelord and has her psychotic episode, she cuts her hair into a ragged mess

zukos arc is about rejecting the original idea of what honor is and coming to and achieving your own sense of honor, and azulas is about failing to achieve perfection and losing control of yourself in the process. the evolution of their hair shows this so well—zukos is just more obvious

one of my favorite stupid things to do in fanfic is to throw two characters together who literally never interact. and then give them an entire, fleshed-out relationship dynamic that exists nowhere but my own head. yes they’ve literally never spoken. yes their relationship is important to me. hope this helps.
