give her strength.   â   it was deemed a waste of resources.  â
âWell thatâs RUBBISH. Some job this is.â
ilverhoney·:
Queenie arched her eyebrow as he stepped inside, a part of her wondering how she couldnât still see him. Surely stepping inside would only mean he was slightly away from the door. Her lips parted to question that but then she heard the sounds, the addition of lights grasping her attention even more as she finally stepped inside.Â
âHow â it is a trick. Itâs bigger on the inside, bigger than it looks on the outside.â That part probably shouldnât have been that shocking, not when there were rooms like this in the magical communities but this was different. It was thrilling and advanced, something out of this World. âWhat is this? I ainât ever seen anything like this before. How is it making all those sounds? What âbout the lights? Itâs all MAGIC but different tâ any magic that I know âŠanâ thatâs the thing I wanted tâ tell ya. Iâm a witch. Not something Iâm supposed tâ tell any people but youâre different.âÂ
Ah, the questions. He loved the questions and Queenie sure had plenty of them. If anything, the Doctor loved showing off and he felt so connected to her already. She saw a wonder in the world that he saw, but they had the same sadness in their eyes when they smiled. For every DIFFERENT reason perhaps. The Doctor hardly reacted when she told him she was a witch, he was never one to JUDGE for such things. She thought he was different, he thought the same of her but in the most wonderful way. âSee? I just knew there was something SPLENDID about you.â He commented, âItâs alright, Iâm - in the language of your species - an alien. Iâm not human, but Iâve put a lot of work into it. Well, Iâm half human on my motherâs side. Itâs called the TARDIS! Time and Relative Dimension In Space. She travels through space and time.â
FOBWATCHED ELEVEN BEING BFFSÂ WITH THIRTEEN???

Stepping to the side a little, Queenie kept the smile but nodded. âI think thatâd be swell anâ then Iâll just follow you inside ⊠or just take a look. Not sure thereâs enough room in there for the both of us.â She shook her head, allowing a small laugh to escape her lips. Of course there wasnât enough room in the box for the two of them. It had to be some kind of solo travel mechanism, rather than apparation. Perhaps he was one of them. âGo ahead, open the door. Iâm ready tâ see your special way of getting in here. Anâ the more impossible it may be âŠthe more Iâll love it.â In the back of her mind she could hear Tina, reprimanding her for following some stranger so freely but Queenie didnât care. He seemed nice and more than interesting.Â
This was the best bit! The âOh, weâll never fit in thereâ bit, the bit right before the âItâs bigger on the insideâ bit. He loved it, the look of wonder that he always had when he found something new, even after all his years of travelling. The TARDIS was INFINITE, he had a feeling Queenie would love it. He had a feeling Queenie would be someone who would love to see the wonders of the universe.  Without hesitation, the Doctor pushed the âpull to openâ doors, nothing jumped out so he walked right into the console room, almost skipping to the main console and leaned up to affectionately pat the central time rotor, âLook alive, dear, weâve got company.â and with that, the box let out a stuttered whirr as the lights grew a little brighter.Â
ilverhoney·:
Queenie couldnât contain her smile as she listened to him, her heart racing when he mentioned landing there. That was one of the most curious things he could have said, especially when he claimed it happened in the blue box. âAw honey, Iâm always a believer in everything ⊠even the impossible. Anâ maybe, as yâ wanna show me inside the box, I can trust you to tell that Iâm not just anybody. Iâm not anything special either but Iâm ⊠well, Iâm not a no-maj. That probably donât mean much tâ you. Let me take a look in there anâ Iâll try tâ explain what I am.â She ventured towards the box, pausing at the part which seemed to be the door. âThis ainât a trick where I open the door anâ something jumps out tâ scare me, right? Someone did something like tâ me in school anâ I still didnât get over it.â
âGOOD.â There werenât many people the Doctor didnât like, but people who believed in impossible things were certainly his favourites. Being over a thousand years old, wearing a bowtie while travelling in space and time were all IMPOSSIBLE THINGS. No, the word âno-majâ didnât mean much to him, but he was keen to find out. The Doctor followed her over to the TARDIS doors and leant up against the jamb, âWould it make you feel better if I went in first? Itâs my box, after all, Iâm not going to rig it to have something jump out at me.â
âI THOUGHT I was supposed to have an office. Whereâs my desk?â

âAnâ do ya believe in making wishes come true?â That was her not so subtle way of trying to find out if the other knew of magic. A part of her already assumed he did, especially considering he brought a big blue box inside the building. âYeah, youâre in New York. I donâ really understand how yâ got in here with that thing over there. Is this a joke? Did Teen put yâ up to it? I know sheâs been wanting tâ cheer me up anâ all that but even I ainât gonna believe you got in this building in that thing. Itâs a blue box. Looks kinda funny âŠ. can I look inside?âÂ
âYes, I suppose I do.â He always tried so hard to make people happy, that was ultimately all he cared about. Keeping people safe, keeping them happy. He nodded when she confirmed their location, heâd guess the late twenties, early thirties perhaps. And heâd also wager that Queenie was no ORDINARY human. âNo, itâs not a joke,â he insisted, shaking his head, âNobody put me up to anything, I just landed.â the TARDIS mustâve thought he was needed here, maybe Queenie just needed him here... âYou can look inside, but only if you believe in IMPOSSIBLE things.â
ilverhoney·:
âThe doctor of everything? Honey, howâs that even possible?â Her smile grew, curiosity building with every passing second she spent with him. There was something alluring about the other, something she couldnât quite put her finger on. A part of her wondered if he was familiar with the Wizarding community, the fact she couldnât hear his thoughts did strengthen that thought. âWhere did yâ even come from? I donât remember anyone else being down here anâ I didnât hear the door â whatâs that?â Her curiosity peaked once more with the sight of some blue box that definitely hadnât been there before.Â
âAnything is possible if you WISH hard enough.â Or when you were as old as the stars, as the Doctor was. He straightened up his bowtie with a smile as he turned to face his TARDIS. âThatâs how I got in,â he answered, though it wasnât much of an answer at all. âI hope Iâm not intruding. Are we in America, Queenie?â
I know every rock and tree and creature has a life, has a spirit, has a name. You think the only people who are people are the people who look and think like you, but if you walk the footsteps of a stranger you'll learn things you never knew, you never knew.
ilverhoney·:
âSplendid? Well ainât cha the sweetest thing.â The faintest smile tugged at her lips as she glanced over to the other, someone unlike anyone else she had met. The doctor. âIâm Queenie but what kindâa doctor are ya?â Normally she would allow his thoughts to answer her curiosity but that simply wasnât happening, not with this man.Â
âItâs nice to meet you, Queenie.â He offered her a GENUINE smile, one that was brighter than the stars. âOh, Iâm a doctor of EVERYTHING, really. Itâs much too complicated. Iâm just the Doctor, people call me that.â
âActually, I think youâre rather SPLENDID... Iâm the Doctor.â

âNo. Iâm the Doctor, Iâm here to HELP.â
