One last LDR related post

Hey everyone, I know I’ve been quiet for a while and there are a few reasons. Today I want to talk about one of them. My long distance boyfriend and I recently broke up. We dated for 2 years and had our third visit coming up. This is still pretty fresh and yes I’m sad, but do you see me badmouthing LDR’s? No. You don’t and I will never do that. I know there’s plenty of people out there saying that long distance never works, but I have to tell you I disagree. Even after my own didn’t work out. Yes my boyfriend and I didn’t last and I can’t say it had nothing to do with the distance, but I also don’t blame the distance for it. We just didn’t fit together when we were apart and we realized that and that’s totally ok. So if anyone is saying stupid things about your LDR don’t listen. If you’re meant to be together you can do it and everything will be ok. I really loved and enjoyed being part of this great community here on tumblr and if anybody ever has any questions or needs advice about their LDR please don’t hesitate to ask. I think that’s it for now. I wish all the amazing long distance couples out there the best and I hope you guys will be happy and able to close the freaking distance. Only been in the US for 5 days and already hurt myself. I broke my little toe today. Hit it on the couch and even heard it crack. Currently it's twice its size and black and blue. Looks great.

Last night in my own bed for the next 14 weeks

I'm finally leaving for my internship tomorrow. I'm excited, but also very stressed out. I just want to be there already and not having to get on two planes and have such a long trip. Tomorrow at this time I'll already be in my new apartment for the next few weeks.

Exciting news!

I'm so excited. I got lucky and got a spot for a 10 week internship. It's in Maryland at a location of the company I work for. It all got organized through my employer and it's good that I'm still in the same company just at another location. The internship starts in two weeks. I'll be gone all summer. Another positive thing about that is that I'll be in the same country as my boyfriend. The time difference will only be 3 hours yay. Sadly I'll be on the east coast and he lives on the west coast, but oh well. I will visit him after my internship and spend four weeks with him. I'm so glad all this worked out. It's gonna be an exciting summer. It's gonna be a new and very challenging experience for me. Countdown till Maryland: 14 days!
