Kickin It

I don’t know why but I’ve never really watched shows on DisneyXD. So it should go without saying that I’ve have never seen this show before but I’m currently binge watching on Disney+. I . LOVE . IT. I have not laughed this hard at a Disney show in such a long time. Sometimes I laugh because it’s so ridiculous. Sometimes I laugh because the actors expressions are on point. Sometimes I laugh because because of the way the line is delivered. But I’m genuinely laughing and that’s what I love about it. Also, you know it can’t be a post without me shouting out a ship - HOW CUTE ARE JACK AND KIM?! I really like Mateo as Jerry as well. “What it do, girl?” Makes me curious to see what other Disney XD shows I’ve been missing out on! Any other Disney XD recommendations that are on Disney+ currently or that I should check out in the future if they end up on there?

Boston Adventures

It is August 12th at 2:00 AM. I cannot sleep due to excitement. According to mom, in around an hour and fifteen minutes we are headed out so that I can meet ALLIE and SAM.

I don’t know what to do.

I don’t know what to think.

I don’t know how to feel.

I have waited for this day for a very long time & I can’t wait to see what this vacation holds. Updates to follow for sure!

Story Time

While I'm not entirely sure where it will go, I'm working on a fic where the gang play a game of truth or dare while giving Jane a proper birthday party. The game will end up revealing how Doug/Evie truly feel about each other as well as Harry/Uma. I might also have Ben/Audrey closure. Would anyone be interested in reading when it's done?

Thoughts on Descendants 3

* The proposal was great & the boys/Mal teasing each other warmed my heart.

Carlos: HER ROYAL PURPLENESS Mal: Silence, you annoying peasants.

*I love and have always loved Audrey. She needs even more character development.

*China delivers her lines perfectly.

*Mal/Uma friendship is everything.

*Evie and Doug finally got their kiss! We need an "I love you" fic ASAP.

*Ben's "I knew you'd be part of the solution" to Uma - JUST KILL ME WITH ALL THE FEELINGS.

*Hades (though his role was short) was also absolutely fantastic. Loved, loved, loved him. Fantastic job, Cheyenne! Him being the father-in-law & making Ben's life teasingly hard is going to be epic.

*The songs were bops. Queen of Mean, Do What You Got to Do, Night Falls = YES, PLEASE! Break This Down got me all emotional. Overall, a fantastic way to end! Plus, there is still so much more that can be explored through fanfiction. I should get writing ASAP!

I can't believe the magic is really over. Words will never express what this franchise has meant to me. I only wish that every single person who was involved with it knew the immense happiness it has brought me.

Last but not least (of course)... I love you, Cameron. That tribute was what I wanted. I was emotional anyway & that brought me over to sob status. We all miss you. You will NEVER be forgotten.

Thoughts on Cameron

It's been a couple of days now so I feel I'm ready to say something. Bear with me... my thoughts may be all over the place because I may or may not have a lot on my mind about this. We will see as we go.

First, it goes without saying that the passing of Cam has left a bitter taste in everyone's mouth and aches in their chest from his fans, friends, and family.

I myself am a casual fan. I am 31, but I've always loved Disney. It was only until recently that I stopped watching the shows (they just aren't quite what they used to be - I left when Liv & Maddie did). Anyway, I really enjoyed Jessie and am addicted to Descendants, therefore I have always had a major fondness of Cameron. As everyone keeps stating, there is something absolutely infectious about him in the best of ways. I adore watching him dance. Every move is filled with passion. Watching him dance to "Set It Off" at Disney when they announced Descendants 2 brings me to tears because it's evident he's having so much fun. He was clearly who my eyes gravitated toward when I watched because of that. Furthermore, he is adorable.

Secondly, watching the people closest to him go through this is killing me. It shouldn't be real. And yet it is. I can't imagine what they must be thinking and feeling.

Third, I keep seeing posts from those who are really affected by this saying that say they feel ridiculous for it because they did not know him personally. I understand. I feel the same way. But I want to say something- DON'T.

Do not feel ridiculous. It's okay to feel the way that you feel. Some of us are introverted. Though we don't know them personally, it feels like it sometimes, and in ways we do. We got to know Cam's personality through interviews, his characters, and the way he danced. But aside from that, fictional characters of a franchise we love can feel like our best friend. They're always there when we need them and will never let us down. So please, don't let anyone tell you that what you are feeling isn't justified. It's something I need to work on myself in order to be respectful because people are affected in different ways by different things.

Finally, Descendants 3 is going to be hard to watch for a lot of us. If they push the premiere back by chance, I will respect that. & if it's too hard to watch, by all means, walk away. But I do agree with those saying to please turn it on the channel so ratings will soar. Let's show how much this young man deserves to be remembered. Let's do it for him.

We love you forever and always, Cameron. Thanks for the abundant joy you clearly brought to so many.

thanks so much for your lovely response to my video! I agree, I love the other dcom couples, flawed though they are. they're still super adorable. I'm not sure if disney meant for the wig to be that ugly though. I know Meg said they tried a few different styles for the white hair...I feel like the white hair was different enough to stand out in seabrook and make her alienated, but making it a bad style just made me as a viewer feel that much worse for her haha

It’s possible! Maybe if there is a sequel her wig will be better. A sequel would be nice! All the DCOMs with music are particularly amazing.

Opinion

My Year is underrated and one of my favorite songs in the movie. I prefer it to BAMM. But all of the songs in the movie are great!
