OMEGA GAMMA THETA & IOTA CHI PSI are brother & sister greek life organizations founded on Wulfrick University’s campus in the year 1694, roughly ninety years after the school’s establishment. OGT was kickstarted by a young wizard by the name of Edward Bluud while his sister, Adelaida Bluud, founded ICP. The siblings were an intelligent pair that realized early on that the persecution of wizarding kind was an inevitable evil committed by the no-majs amidst the Salem Witch Trials, subsequently leading them to start Skull & Bones-like secret societies for the most elite students found on campus. Originally labeled the Brothers & Sisters of Magical Preservation, the secret society consisted of students that were scouted, recruited, and inducted by leaders hand-picked by Edward & Adelaida. For almost seventy, the Brothers & Sisters operated under the strict watch of the administration while the remainder of the campus were only vaguely aware of them.
It was in the year 1759 that students that were inducted into the society began to complain that the organization should be better publicized. With the help of the administration of WU, the Brothers & Sisters were re-named as Greek Life organizations. Now dubbed OMEGA GAMMA THETA FRATERNITY and IOTA CHI PSI SORORITY, the brothers and sisters now gained traction as a true presence on campus. The fraternity and sorority are extremely elite, having been known to focus on the power of magic and how wizarding kind must stick together.
Times have changed now, and along with the repeal of Rapport’s Law, OGT and ICP have both started to adapt. Many progressive witches and wizards have joined the ranks and slowly but surely, the srat & frat have begun to adapt to social media, technology, and other advances. While many traditionalists now scorn these organizations for stepping on and squandering the true purpose of the societies in the first place, both OG-Theta and Iota-CP have a strong reputation for being progressive minds dedicated to pushing magical-kind into the future with intelligent minds and liberal views.
The boys of OG Theta and the girls of Iota CP are known for being wild, free-spirits. While it takes a lot of intelligence and dedication to get into the group ( there have been rumors of wild hazing for new rushes and pledges ) both Greek Life orgs are tight-knit communities that host frequent mixers, parties open to the wider student body, and more.
They each have a house exclusive to the brothers and sisters of the respective groups situated off campus, close to the main entrance of Wulfrick University. The Omega Gamma Theta house is large and sprawling with multiple floors and a charmed basement accessible only by those that have been officially inducted into the fraternity. The Iota Chi Psi house is a beautiful and picturesque home three blocks down from OG-Theta house. It's very quaint looking but the interior has been charmed into being a large, wide-spread home suitable for blossoming witches. The ICP house is password protected by a charmed padlock that only reacts to the password and voice of witches that are part of the sorority.

NEW YORK CITY, the City That Never Sleeps. Known to the no-maj world for its sweeping sky-scrapers and never-ending night life, the Big Apple is much more than meets the eye. NYC is the current capital and location of the MACUSA operations, making it a location of some of the highest magical traffic in the USA. The Woolworth Building is located on Broadway in Manhattan, hidden under plain sight of the no-majs. However, the building is enchanted and charmed to hell and back by the magicals to keep it hidden away. The headquarters for the MACUSA was relocated into New York following the recent repeal of Rapport's Law as New York City is a very no-maj friendly location.
NYC is a largely no-maj city, making it risky for many magicals to live here in harmony. However, there are neighborhoods scattered throughout the boroughs that are hidden away from no-maj eyes and are magical exclusive. However, the more progressive witches and wizards of today may have lived in apartments found in "integrated" society. While secrecy laws are still in place, the MACUSA has made amendments that allow witches and wizards to live side by side with no-majs so long as their magical identities are not compromised.
In addition, there are many magical-exclusive shopping centers, workplaces, and more. It's all a matter of a witch or wizard's preference in the ever-changing climate of American Magical Policy.

ESTABLISHED IN 1608 by Elgort Wulfrick, an eccentric and inventive wizard that had come to the Americas alongside the rush of magicals fleeing the United Kingdom, Wulfrick University stands as a pillar of education and history. It was at some point infamous for its rather offensive mascot of a werewolf -- which, only about one hundred years ago, was changed to the Chimera after multiple protests and civil rights cases against the school -- but that small blemish on Wulfrick's record has done little to dampen its position as the leading higher educational institution for young witches and wizards on this side of the ocean.
Wulfrick's rival Institutions include the five other magical universities across the country -- Thornhodge University of Texas, Piltrix College in Northern California, School of the Burning Torch in Indiana, Ashan University of Florida, and Salem College in Massachusetts. All six schools compete regularly in the sport of Quodpot ( the American equivalent of Quidditch, though a Quidditch league has also been established. ) In addition to a state of the arts sports program, Wulfrick has numerous dorming halls for all students. There are multiple dining hall locations on campus, as well.
Wulfrick's year system operates much like any other typical American University's. There are four undergraduate years -- freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior progressively -- as well as a masters and graduate program for older students. There are many majors available, including but not limited to Potion Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical Potions, Potioneering, Medical Potioneering, Industrial Potioneering, Alchemy, Magical Marketing, Veterinary Practice for Magical Creatures, Banking & Finance in the Wizarding World, Zoology: Magical Creatures, Pre-Medical Route: Magical Healing , Pre-Law Route: American Magical Law, Technology and Magic , International Magical Policy, Magical Communications, and much, much more.
In addition to academics, there is no shortage of clubs and organizations available on campus. Greek life is thriving at Wulfrick. What sets magical greek life apart from no-maj Greek Life is the fact that the fraternities and sororities founded at magical institutions are similar to blood bonds that bring witches & wizards into a society that traces back centuries. There are many networking opportunities presented to those who decide to take part in it-- though recent times have caused Greek Life to be more about fun, brotherhood or sisterhood, and parties. Wulfrick is home to the Beta chapter of the Omega Gamma Theta fraternity & the Alpha Pi chapter of the Iota Chi Psi sorority.

with new laws allowing magicals to finally assimilate into no-maj society once again, witches & wizards – both YOUNG and OLD – are finding their footing. social media handles are common, cell-phones and other devices are no longer demonized. the hierarchy between magical and non-magical is slowly coming undone. while young minds are being groomed in one of america’s finest magical universities & their older counterparts are reclaiming new york city, where do you stand? do you fight against change? or will you WALK THE LINE ?
