So I recently got into Warriors (the concept album/musical) and like I've been having such art ideas for it! I saw a post here talking about giving the gangs all their own colour scheme and first of all absolutely yes! I hope that the Warriors fandom here enjoys my little ramble about an idea that formed because of that post!

First of all I've never seen the movie or read the book so sorry if stuff is inaccurate but I had this idea of three small drawings depicting Mercy getting incorporated into the Warriors.

Panel/Drawing 1: Orphan Town

The Warriors obviously coloured in red but the background and the Orphans in green including Mercy.

Panel/Drawing 2: A Light Or Something

Swan and the tunnel are coloured in red while Mercy is now a(n) yellow/orange colour. Slowly shifting to being closer to the Warriors

Panel/Drawing 3: Finale

During this entire night Mercy has proven herself to be commited to the Warriors and now is also coloured in a red colour scheme.

It is true that people in fandom equate top bottom with dom sub and probably mean the latter when they "headcanon" the former but I also think people need to be more open to the idea that D/s doesn't necessarily get indicated from personality either. Like for example a shy person who gets pushed around easily very well might enjoy having a dominant role with a partner they trust. That can even be affirming. Like BECAUSE of this issue you have in your real life to feel like someone will submit to YOU and defer to YOU is special for example. I think the idea that you just play the role that suits your personality in real life is part of why these same people seem to genuinely think being a Dom is like, kind of bad and scary
