“Age doesn’t matter when it comes to jumping in giant leaf piles.” ---- thelittlestwarlock
“If you’re implying that I should be jumping into the leaves myself, you’ll be disappointed” Lilith told him frankly. Perhaps it was the simple fact she’d never had a childhood or that the wilderness she preferred went beyond a...foliage strewn yard, but a half-heartedly gathered pile of wet leaves didn’t have the quite appeal the boy seemed to think it did.
"Mama does. . . sometimes." Rarely but when she wasn't being a grouch she did fun things with leaves and snow. Last year she'd thrown him and Emilia with the help of Amborse into snow drifts. That was all before everyone lost their minds and the world almost ended.
"It's fun."

❝ i’m a very good judge of character. ❞
“Are you?”
Wasn’t this the cousin who’d done things with Lucifer himself? Not to mention all the other trouble she’d gotten up to just in eight years with Francis’ own birth. “That’s not what Mama says, or Auntie,” Or Auntie Vesta come to think of that.
Bella frowns, when had the youngest members of the Spellman family become so... sassy? “I beg to differ...” she replies, rolling her eyes as she moves to sit down. “And I somehow doubt Auntie Hilda has ever said anything negative about a single member of this family... unless by Auntie you meant my mother... in which case you’re probably right. That woman is so critical...”
"She says Mama is groucy all the time. She even yelled at her," Although. . . every time Hilda had said anything remotely negative to his mother it had either been in his own defense or Dr. Cerberus'. It didn't happen all that often to be honest- and it was even more rare since the apparent mortorium against killing her.
"But Mama says your taste in men is awful." Not that it seemed anyone in the family had terribly good taste in significant others. They ended up dead, posessed, or they went crazy.
Or in rarer occasions some combination there of.
“Oh are you now? And who told you that, huh?” Abigail laughed a little as she pulled back and tickled the little boy’s sides and under his arms. She knew his reputation, knew just how sweet but mischievous he was just as his sisters could be.
“Oh no, what’s your sister supposedly done now?” It seemed to be a habit for the young women in this family, troublemakers and trailblazers the lot of them. Though, Abigail knew that sometimes they didn’t go looking for trouble, trouble came looking for them, “Okay, so while your familiar sleeps you decided to come and spend some time with your awesome Auntie Abigail, huh? Or are you asking if I can take you somewhere?”
@thelittlestwarlock X
“I believe you, I believe you, my little prince,” Oh he was a confident little bug, Abigail could see he got that from his mother, she would refute any claim that it came from Faustus. She couldn’t see any of her brother in this precious little boy and she hoped it would always be so, “You know your cousins do that because they want to make things right with the mortals when a witch is at fault, your sister is naturally curious and I for one welcome her questions every time. As for Prudence…She just needs time and love and space, she’ll come around to you both and myself when she’s ready.”
Abigail squeezed Francis’s hands gently, giving a sympathetic smile, this boy was such a sweetheart, a mischievous little bug at times but he had a good heart, much like his mother though Zelda kept it well hidden and guarded. Perhaps his sweetness came from being the only boy his age in the family, since Ambrose was a fair bit older than Francis, Abigail wished her children had been alive so Francis could have known his cousins and had two boys to play with closer to his age. But it was not meant to be, still he had his Auntie Abigail to keep him company for now.
“I really need to have words with your mother later, she shouldn’t be taking it out on everyone else, especially you and Doctor Cee,” She sighed sadly before giving the small boy in her lap a small smile at his giggle, “Now, now, you shouldn’t laugh at those names. It’s not nice to call someone names, no matter how old you are…Why is she calling him Edward? He’s nothing like your Uncle Edward.”
“She’s as much of a grouch as Mama is.” He shrugged. Prudence was fine as sister but she was just grouchy. All the adults in the coven were- even if he didn’t count either of his sisters as adults no matter what they thought about themselves. “Ambrose just likes to bring stuff back to life. Or to cheat death. He tried to save a familiar that belonged to somebody once- Mama wanted to turn it into a purse. It was gonna die anyway. . .” It had died anyway.
Familiars didn’t last long without their witches. “Sabrina just goes along with stuff or she’s too busy getting in trouble.” Once upon a time Ambrose had been the family headache and then Sabrina turned sixteen. She’d been the cause of alllllll the problems since her sixteenth birthday. Well before her sixteenth birthday truth be told.
“Not Uncle Edward.” Francis shook his head. “The vampire one from Twilight who sparkles. He’s not even a vampire by movie rules even anyway though. Sun doesn’t kill him. . . . She never calls him his name- ever. Well when he married Aunt Hilda but that was it.” Zelda had been nice to him. . . for all of a day. “She threatened to douse him in glitter once, Aunt Hilda didn’t like it.” At least she didn’t try to kill him anymore. She threatened to on very rare occasions but it wasn’t truly in earnest anymore.
Hecate didn’t care who witches married. Mortals- and vampires were fine- to marry. “I don’t know why she calls him Mr. Munster though. He wasn’t a vampire he was supposed to be like Frankenstein’’s monster the only ones who were vampires were Lily and her dad. . .”
