The installation by Paul Cummins, entitled "Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red", will see volunteers place 888,246 ceramic poppies into the dry moat of the Tower of London. Each poppy represents a British or Colonial military fatality during WW1.

This very dead giant parrot was spotted in Potter’s Field Park in London. The sculpture was commissioned by comedy TV channel Gold to celebrate the screening of the very last Monty Python live show that aired on July 20th.

STEALING BANKSY? is a project exploring the social, legal and moral issues surrounding the sale of street art. Taking place from April 24th to 27th in the heart of London, the exhibition showcases the most expensive collection of Banksy artworks ever assembled under one roof. Banksy though spoke out against the project by posting an adversarial statement on his website: the controversial guerrilla artist labelled as 'disgusting' the exhibition and pointed out that it had been organised without his involvement or consent.

"Beautiful Science" exhibit is on display at the British Library, London.
The exhibit is taking place in The Folio Society Gallery at London's British Library from 20 February to 26 May 2014. "Beautiful Science" explores how our understanding of ourselves and our planet has evolved alongside our ability to represent, graph and map the mass data of the time.
