“Huh. Interesting,” she smirked, laughing his impersonation of her mother. “Oh, I just hate that look,” she joked.

Pietro chuckled “It wasn’t funny at the time, but now that I look back on it I find it amusing. Who knows, maybe one day she’ll succeed in finishing me off?” He mused.

adelise--salvatore:

“Very true,” she laughed. She smirked back at him as he explained. “Huh. Sounds like my mother. She always has the most interesting threats, I’ll give her that. What’d you steal from her?” she asked, now just being nosy.

“Some files, Dostoevsky woman asked me for them...I delivered, needed the cash really” he said “But then she became all....” The witch boy said, pulling a face to show his point, mocking felicia’s reaction.

adelise--salvatore:

She appreciated that he wasn’t judging her–at least, he didn’t seem to be. “Yeah, I’m hoping I can..” She cocked an eyebrow at his admission and said “Well, you just became a whole lot more intriguing. You’re handsome, you’re charming, and my mother doesn’t like you? That’s like a triple threat. But I mean, my mother’s not a fan of me either so her distaste is rather vague. Why doesn’t she like you?”

“Well, in all honesty, your mom likes no one...” The young man pointed out before laughing “But if you’re into it” he mused with a smile. “I stole from her, I was paid to do it by someone, she got mad...Vowed to pull out my spine” The witch boy admitted with a small shrug.

adelise--salvatore:

“Okay, well.. That’s fair, then. Look, I’m very well aware that I’m a spoiled brat to say the least. So the answer is yes, I was living off of her at the moment. But I’m working on it.” She nodded and said “Yeah, that’s my mother… Why?”

“Hey hey, that’s not what I was saying.” Pietro tried, not wanting her to convince herself that she was spoiled. “You can get away from her, I’m sure. “Shes just, shes not a fan of me”

“I like to rattle everyone’s cage in way or another,” she purred. “Ugh, can you not say it like that? Trust me, she can afford it.”

“Don’t we all...” He chuckled “Okay okay, sorry...I guess I’ve just not really ever had that. I’m pretty much penniless in most respects. Wait, is your mom Felicia Salvatore?”

adelise--salvatore:

“Well, of course I’m gonna’ be doing something. I’ve got places to go and people to kill,” she laughed. “But mostly, my mother brings me to New York. Mommy dearest cut me off yet again, it would seem.”

“Oh, so one of those? the bad girls who like to rattle the hunter cages?” He chuckled. “Oh, you were living off her?”

adelise--salvatore:

“Well, good. I like bold,” she smirked. “Shall we then?” she asked, linking her arm with his.

“We shall” The man chuckled, happy when she linked his arm “So, what brings you to New York then? You gonna be doing something whilst you’re here?”

adelise--salvatore:

“Good thinking,” she smirked. “Damn, already asking me out to dinner? That’s a bold move, don’t you think? How about we start with a bar?”

“I like to be bold, makes me stand out.” Pietro shrugged “but sure, a bar sounds good. There’s actually a nice one called PaperMoon, we’ll actually be able to talk in there.”

adelise--salvatore:

“Yes, we certainly are,” she smirked, more than a little proud of her family name, even if she was one of the more disappointing Salvatores herself. “Oh, you don’t have to remind me,” she chuckled. “That’s why I was speaking on what I see, too.”

“Then I’ll be sure not to get on your bad side so I’m not torn apart by your family” The man chuckled, before smiling at her. “Well, then why don’t we do something more meaningful then? Like a bar, or maybe even dinner- rather than a sticky fanged out club?”

adelise--salvatore:

“Huh… Interesting. You learn something new ever day,” she chuckled. She wasn’t too too well versed in witches by she didn’t really see the point in it if she wasn’t one. “Salvatore,” she smirked. “Oh, pretty, handsome, it’s the same thing. It’s a compliment, love. And thank you.”

“The more you know, right?” Pietro laughed. “Oh, one of those? I’ve heard about that family, you guys are one of the big ones.” He added, hoping it didn’t offend her. “Well, just saying what I see, I’m still a guy with eyes and a... Well you know” He laughed.

adelise--salvatore:

She smiled and said “I can’t lie, it’s a pretty sweet gig.” Though she hadn’t always been this way, these days, she quite enjoyed giving humans a scare. They were so paranoid and superstitious. Why any hunter ever thought they truly stood a chance against the supernatural world was beyond Adelise. “I believe the correct term is a ‘warlock’ but ‘witch’ sounds a lot better if you ask me. You got a last name, Pietro?” she asked, curious. “Well, you should. You’re too pretty to not be chatting up girls up on the regular.”

“I bet...” Pietro laughed, he could imagine that she messed up people pretty badly when she wanted to. “Apparently not, guys can still be witches too...We’re a genetic mutation, since it’s only meant to be on the X chromosome. Hence their hatred of ones likes us. And I do, It’s Maximoff, what about you doll?” He wondered. “Pretty?” He then laughed out “Well, thank you, you are too.”

adelise--salvatore:

“And you’re very observant. Banshee with a bit of shadow in me,” she chuckled. “How about yourself?” She took his cigarette and took a long drag form it. “Well, aren’t you quite the gentleman?”

“Shadow? Haven’t heard of one those in a while, knew a guy like that.” Pietro stated “I’m not sure what I am really, guess I’m a Male witch if that really is a thing. Even if the Female witches wouldn’t agree.” he explained, blowing out smoke. “I’d like to think so, especially since i don’t really talk to girls often..”

adelise--salvatore:

“You are indeed,” she smirked, though she wasn’t about to go into full detail just yet. She chuckled and followed him. When he pulled out a cigarette, she shot him a smile and said “Care to share?”

“So, just what are you then? You’re warm I think, so not a vampire” Pietro began, looking her up and down as he offered his lit cigarette “Of course, you keep that one...” he suggested as he took out another one to light up.

adelise--salvatore:

She tilted her head back in laughter and said “Oh, you have no idea.” He was very intuitive to say the least. “Vampire club. They’ve got better drinks,” she chuckled.

“I’m guessing i’m right though, Addie” Pietro teased, enjoying talking to a girl again. He’d spent so much time hiding out with his sister from Hunters that he had almost forgotten how to flirt, even just chat. It was nice. “Fangtasia it is then.” He nodded, lighting a cigarette and gesturing for them to walk.

adelise--salvatore:

“It’s short for Adelise.” She smiled said “No, I like it. It suits you. And now we know each other. So let’s grab a drink, shall we?”

“Interesting name, either you got a posh family or your mom is like centuries old. Could be both actually” He pointed out, whilst hated by his own, he was still a witch, he could sense when someone else wasn’t human. “Human bar or the sticky vampire club?”

“Addie, short for something?” He chuckled “I’m Pietro, it’s a family name- not one I’d pick out here.”
