oh I know how to make a poll's results look like the letter E watch this
what is the rightmost digit of the number of responses this poll has right now? (it should be visible before you vote.)
0, 1, or 2
3
4 or 5
6
7, 8, or 9
the most beautiful thing about this is that it doesnt matter, pick any of those numbers you want!
this trick works because exactly 30% of numbers in the decimal system end with a 0, 1, or 2, 10% of them end in 3, etc. as long as the number you're looking at isnt biased to end in a particular digit more or less often than usual, it will always produce this distribution. the amount of votes a popular poll has is constantly updating, so you can watch the last digit change unpredictably in real time if you refresh the page while its still active enough. to any given participant in the poll, its effectively a random number that rolls a different result every time the post is loaded, so it easily falls into the expected E-shaped distribution the poll makes. telling us to base it on the current amount of votes just makes it that much more solid, since the number is easily visible to everyone voting and guarantees any two people taking the poll at different times will see different numbers. if they didnt feel the poll needed that extra certainty, misali could have asked us to roll a d10 and answer based on that, it'd have worked out just the same as long as enough people participate in the poll and follow instructions correctly. the only thing we need is that 30-10-20-10-30 distribution, this is just a real clever way of making sure we get it!
The Dungeons & Dragons paladin is objectively the funniest class because at first glance it seems like an artefact of an earlier age of the fantasy genre for which contemporary inspirations are thin on the ground, but then you dig into its thematic core and realise there are contemporary popular media characters who almost perfectly fit the mould, but like 80% of them are deeply unwell teenage lesbians.
Like, oh, you're running Oath of Devotion? So is this like an Adora Princessesofpower thing, or are you shooting more for Gideon Nav?
It just occurred to me that, given where her character arc and mechanical build have ended up as of the conclusion of Chapter 4, the list of deeply unwell teenage lesbians with paladin aesthetic now also includes Susie Deltarune.
susie's arc is definitely paralleling cecil's transformation from dark knight to paladin in final fantasy iv, she's even referred to as a "dark knight" in chapter 1's status screen. the moment she started learning healing spells i knew were we were headed and i got sooooo giddy about it
just in case you didnt know, you should do this!
as a feminist i support recreational abortion
i have mixed feelings about competitive
*maddest ive ever been, eye twitching* thats baseless. its something else actually.
humans werent "built" or "designed" to do anything. we just have a natural incentive to fuck kinda good and not die in the woods. and people die in the woods all the time and are asexual so
Fuckkkk just had a dream where i started hrt by wearing special socks that shock you to make your body produce estrogen
Today I wanted to talk about Kyle Bassinga. Kyle was a 21 year old man from Georgia, whose family described him as "a kind, thoughtful, and smart young man who loved nature, music, and the people around him". Kyle Bassinga was killed on February 18th 2026, just ten days after his birthday. He was found hanging from a tree in a park.
The police ruled it a suicide. The family and local community demanded an investigation. The police refused to change their ruling.
I know this website it too white for this to really go anywhere, but an understanding of the present reality of white supremacy in the United States is just so important to transfeminism here. Lynchings never stopped, white supremacy never went away, you just stopped looking.
Juliana Nzita, A 16 year old Black girl, was just found hanging from a tree on church grounds in Charlotte, NC. Police have ruled it a suicide, despite hanging ourselves from trees being like the one communally agreed way Black folks ain’t killing ourselves.
Every time I go on Twitter or Facebook I learn about another recent lynching or missing Black person going mostly unreported. Half the reason I keep an active account on either of those sites is because they’re the only place I can find out about the violence happening to Black and Trans people reasonably quickly.
But I do need y’all to know that Black folks are currently, actively, being disappeared and lynched—if they even find our bodies. Black girls are and have been more often stolen into human trafficking, especially if they’re immigrants, but I’ve been seeing new news of probable lynchings every other day. Shit is worse than you think it is right now, tumblr just too white of a site to care lol
People argue "I've seen a case like this every few months and it's always been a suicide"
Been a suicide or been ruled a suicide?
Usually it’s ruled a suicide because cops or people affiliated with cops/prisons/legal system like lawyers or prosecutors did it then buried the body on land belonging to one of those organizations, such as I noted here: in this thread, where over 200 bodies were found buried behind a jail since 2016:

Non-Black and/or non-US based people often wonder why so many left-leaning Black folks in the US try to operate alternate justice systems within smaller community such as restorative justice, transformative justice, etc. when “all over the world, activists and their ancestors have fought for access to legal systems like this” and this is why.
Our legal system is explicitly designed to kill and enslave Black people. Our legal system from the cops to the lawyers and courts (one of the few times we got justice) to the prisons is legalized slavery where prisons are privatized and corporations are encouraged to maximize their profit by incentivizing every part of this system to hold as many people as possible.
Black folks can be proven innocent after years of time in prison or on death row and still killed by the state or dying in prison because the goal was never justice, it was to keep culling and controlling the Black population.
And outside of the system, we are lynched, raped, abused, trafficked, and robbed by those involved in our legal system, lives often irreparably destroyed, entire lives disappeared with no justice because that is the point, not a flaw. It’s almost always those in the legal system or their families and friends doing this, so that it can be ruled a suicide or a runaway or intracommunity issues and swept away.
So when we look to justice systems that do not throw away a life of any human, it is because we do not wish to see them enslaved, murdered, raped, abused, etc. at the hands of the state, because that is what WILL happen here in the US. We become abolitionists because we see that the alternative option is to allow others to become enslaved. Because it’s a minimum we can do when 95% of the time there will be no justice for us no matter what.
my bestie (she/they) is in a really shit abusive situation involving their abusive mother and family that she has to rely upon for assistance because they are disabled and cannot work they are attempting to force her into assisted living care against her wishes and her mom is attempting to retake guardianship even tho they are fully able willing and wanting to take care of herself they have been continuously clear abt her wishes and their family doesnt care she they have been assaulted sexually and physically and is very traumatized as well as being somewhere between medium and high support needs autistic as well having recently experienced police brutality for the second time due to her sister having a episode induced by drinking too much and the struggle of addiction she is also heavily seen as a target due to but not limited to them being Black disabled fat trans nonbinary intersex and many other intersections of oppression.

girls i know accusations of racism can occasionally be falsely leveraged against trans women in order to discredit them and this Is Bad but this does notttt actually mean that you can just ignore the racism in the community like it doesn't exist. because racism exists in all communities and lately it is Nightmarish to be a nonwhite doll. i have experienced really glaring racism in several transfem spaces and there's been this really kind of awful attitude or like idea enforced that i shouldn't talk about it because speaking up could socially murder another tgirl. and that's really bad. that's really really bad. like it's really bad that i'm hesitant to even post this because of the scrutiny we're under. and yes the fact that it is so dangerous to speak up is because of the massive amounts of surveillance & transmisogyny we're facing but that just CAN'T mean racism gets a pass, okay? BIPOC girls are not expendable and you can't keep throwing us under the bus.
but i know calls to action without any kind of instruction aren't very helpful so here are some tips that i think you can easily do yourself with your own circles:
1) Staring off simple: Look around. Are there any BIPOC girls in your friend group, or are all of you white? Why? Do you often joke about everyone in your friend group being white? Why is that funny?
What to do: Examine why there are no people of color in your group. Examine why people of color may not be comfortable enough to hang out with you & your friends. Correct these, where possible. Do some reading on anti-racism. Talk to more people.
2) Examine how you talk about people of color & racism. Are you downplaying racism in your community? Are you treating women of color as dramatic or unreasonable for bringing it up? Do you find yourself only defending white dolls, always defending them from claims of racism, but never defending BIPOC dolls? Why?
What to do: Think about why you care more about accusations of racism than protecting the women of color in your community. Make sure you're making your space safe for BIPOC girls. Speak openly and loudly about anti-racism. Hold your sisters accountable- they should be apologizing when they say or do something wrong.
3) This one might sound silly, but as we often meet each other over fandom and roleplay- how are nonwhite characters treated in your circle? Are they always aggressive, angry, or antagonistic? Do you find yourself putting nonwhite characters in more roles like cops, dictators, sex pests, etc?
Additionally: If your circle shares sexual content, is there a lot of art where there's a pale/blonde character on the bottom, and a darker character on top? Are you and your friends always drawing darker characters as more dominant, more sexually aggressive, or promiscuous, while the white/pale characters are more innocent, submissive, modest, or clueless?
What to do: Examine how the way your group approaches fandom & art with nonwhite characters in it may make people of color uncomfortable. Examine why your art may make people of color feel unsafe or awkward hanging out with you. It's not wrong to have the occasional character of color be more antagonistic or dominant, but it's a problem when this is a pattern. If it's happening All The Time, question why!
4) Be honest with yourself: Did this post make you feel defensive? Does it make you feel defensive when people say something you did was racist? Why?
If a person of color tells you your actions were racist, they trust you to improve. I don't tell people they're being racist if i think they're going to hurt me for bringing it up. I know many like me. Don't prove us wrong- take these criticisms into account and work on it. You aren't cursed to be some kind of terrible bigot forever because you messed up- panicking without action is useless. Just be sure you examine the behavior in question and work to prevent this kind of thing from happening again. Okay?
I believe all these things are easy enough to check with yourself & your friends. Please work on making yourself & your group safe for girls who aren't white.
yahh ok so. this is both why i made this post and why the first sentence is like that. sometimes my fellow dolls fuck up and hurt me, right, but they're more likely to get hurt if i say anything and that's EXACTLY what causes this issue. if i speak up, im risking ruining their lives the second TMEs smell blood in the water, which causes this horrible awful cycle where i don't feel comfortable speaking up when other trans women are racist to me because i am so afraid of TMEs killing them about it when all i wanted was for them to make things right. This is BAD. This is actively causing trans women of color to hide when they get hurt and racist whites in the community to take advantage of our fear. It's a HUGE problem, and this is the very SPECIFIC problem i was addressing in this post.
So on that note-
White TMEs have harmed me leagues worse than white transfems. Do not take this post to mean you're somehow better. You aren't. You are in fact so much worse that i don't feel comfortable even discussing this with you because i don't trust you not to kill me if i do. The only reason i made this post and addressed other trans women specifically with it is because i want to believe my sisters will listen to my cries. That's why i didn't address the rest of yall
youre trying your best, puppygirl. itll get better
The people who spent years harassing kyonghui and nicole and my sister off the site have fundraisers that make thousands of dollars and meanwhile I'm supporting a family of two on $300 a month
Hi everyone, I'm a refugee with several long-neglected medical problems in addition to permamently disabling autism. I don't currently have any access to medication or treatment at all because I barely make enough money to pay rent and feed myself. My phone and laptop are both dying.
I really need a break of like $1000. Which is a fraction of what I saw some truly fucking dogshit people raising yesterday so I'm sick of feeling like it's unreasonable or impossible for me to afford fucking contact lenses so I can see my own fucking yard. (I'm blind even with glasses.)

ty prev and cosigned... i'm blocked by some of the biggest names in mutual aid posting for some verifiably very stupid reasons and others have been directly involved in harassment campaigns against my family and are thus blocked for our safety
some updates since this post is about a month old now
not quite sure how much money this has raised so far, checking is an entire ordeal because, stateless so my banking situation is a mess. it's for sure short of the $1000 goal I set but also remarkably better than the $300 average up to this point which is good because
my phone gave out entirely and I did have to replace it, also,
my landlord and i had a very unpleasant conversation in which she very forcefully tried to get me to explain my chronic health conditions and the nuances of my legal status to her in a language i barely speak,
(i don't even understand what my legal status is right now or if i even have one that's a whole other thing i have to sort out)
and if i could explain my health conditions well that would be one less thing in the way of treatment wouldnt it
and i was not able or frankly willing to do that so i am moving out at the end of june
and i was able to book the biggest travel expense well in advance (thus saving a lot of money for this-month me).
will this new situation be superior in terms of healthcare and education access? i think so but it's going to be expensive to set up at first because we don't have housing etc ready
still blind, still without several medications, laptop still basically how it has been
the next 45+ days are extremely important
happy pi day :3 enjoy a quick little sleep deprived commemorative doodle
btw did u know all numbers r cute girl critters that dance around and have fun together to make the math work? its true everyone say thank you women
