Hello there, call me Merci!

I am both a fanarist and a part time artist. As of recent times coming along I have been working on a small webcomic project that I will do in my free time for the time being.

On and off I have also worked on fanart for various fandoms, though mostly having focused on Voltron Legendary Defender and Transformers.

I am planning on taking a break from fandom workings of art to focus on my personal projects and artwork. But I will post them with the proper tags here and on their respective blusky blogs.

Dayshia Bishop: First steps of home

Dayshia is out and about with the first t steps of home! She enjoys a nice adventure and new places to try tricks out in. With her lucky duckie bow and purple ribbon, nothing can stop her!

Art and life updates!

I have been busy with things and life, as well as trying to get my CDL studies done for a test if I end up going for it. Basically life stuff going up and some changes going on for my life. I am working on my art here and focusing on making it into a webcomic here.

Java tends to the children to the best of his abilities even if a bit more literal than other models made.

Primarily he ensures Dayshia’s well-being is in check, rested up, and fed well. They hold a close bond to one another. Something not to be broken.

I wanted to give a heads up and little update. Before I start posting the actual comic, I plan on posting some side or epilogue start pages. It may be on this site or one I personally make with my other art I’ve done.

I haven’t worked on a comic in a while and before I start posting the “long” comic of Project Zero Zero One: Metal Bonds, I wish to give some snacks of mini comics. Mainly focusing on the main characters and their backgrounds and what they did in the before, fun scenes, and other mini ideas.

I will say, the main characters are going well in development and I am currently working on background concepts and writting for later chapters/seasons.

So look out for the things to come!

Two design concepts of Gullus, the stoic and ever-so loyal knight from a far off planet. They know what they must do and how much strength is to be used.

Yapping to myself, but I’m debating on making a seperated account for my personal projects due to most of the stuff under “MagicMerci” being more fanon/fanwork. This is NOT a bad of course, just make things easier for others and as well for myself

Especially if they want to follow one over the other and have that choice. It would also help with organizing things better.

I’d post here and there stuff about one another blogs but mostly keep things organizing. I’m not sure I’ll put a poll up on my tumblr (I don’t think they have polls here just yet)

Never trust a fly when having a lemon meringue pie!

I wanted to draw Bhric from Oribis, by Dulaman studios for sometime and finally had a chance to wrap this piece up! This is super fun to do and I plan on doing some more with the others because now I’m like…it’s like my Voltron focus, I mean I’m really into both atm (help), so expect more is what I am now saying haha.

So Ozar, you gots a daughter? You don't have to tell us everything, we just wanna know how cute she is.

Ozar: she means the world to me. I work all I can to keep her out of the way of this mess. It’s nice to come back and see her playing with her toy or the other kids. She does have my energy—that’s for sure.

Description

Daughter of Ozar, she is a shy but lively child who is often seen spending her time with her Aunt Olia’s’ family beside Nai and the other children. She usually keeps her purple tinted skin tone around the other rebels but is free to show her actual tones with Olia’s family, or Ozar. She finds herself pretty entertained with her Black Lion plushie that Ozar gifted her. Appearing to be older than she was due to her rapid aging condition. Something which has seemingly slowed down for a time.

Common note; bandaids come and go. But expect more within a movement!

I Just found your art blog and yoooo, vld rebel central realness!! Question! With Ozar’s cap having three points, do you think that’s just the structure of his cap or from a crest and horns?

Personally, I think a bit of both BUT— his cap has a built in hard-hat feature and the fabric molds around its shape. He picked that hat for the added safety feature (it’s smth ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ) and it was the most comfortable/accommodating for his crest and any other protrusions he’s got up there.

I love your idea for it being 1. Safety reasons ((clashing with mine but I don’t care I LOVE IT)) 2. A crest/horns.

For me it’s always been he has two horns on the side of his head and the horns of the cap are just like part of it and it hits just right on his head because of his horns. Being the cause of why he wears it so much/never takes it off.

But the safety part is better and I love it. Like a hard hat with that shape is such an awesome idea. Unfortunately I just hc the hat is a normal hat and he calls it his lucky hat since it’s been with him during some fights and he’s come out without dying.

I kinda have Ozar as a lucky but personal unsafe person. I am not that creative like you LOL ~w~

Since I’m insane- I had Ozar being the son of three parents and having a sibling he’s technically met but on opposite sides of the war. But that’s my AU. So I don’t wanna fill this ask with my Ozar stuff since it’s kinda like an ambush lol (by me—-I refrain lol-))

But the hat thing makes the most sense and for his horns. When I first saw it that’s what I thought but then I changed it for some reason. (Not the hat thing—I never even thought of that till like ya said it)) I thought he was bald or somethn at ngl but than I scrapped it for the horns lol

I wanted to draw my blue man here again and I got his stuff done!

It’s not much but I really had fun with exploring some expressive poses and clothing types, while not to different it was a nice change.

((The guy in the top left with Ozar is Bhric from Oribis by Dulaman studios- wanted to clarify that. I just wanted to make a tiny doodle between them because VLD Altean’s seem disguised by the round “human” looking ears and I’m putting it as a universal ‘yuck’ for round ears. If anyone didn’t know that. That’s why he looks disguised under that hat he’s actually angry/disgusted lol)) ngl I like to imagine Ozar just following big man around but don’t know 100% since 8 mins of pilot out lol—but he just shadows to inspect those weird ears he sees since the only other is Matt who has such…just love crossovers.

Legendary reset

Fun lil AU I worked on in my time off and it’s just one of the designs I decided to get done with. The gems that are orange are very rare but used commonly by the Xterion’s to not only establish status by its location; but by communicating their clan and who they follow as ruler, not to forget that the gem itself is what connects them together and ensures that they can be located at any point and time by their Queen and her followers. ((More commming very very soooon)

One of the considerably fancy outfits he has in his ownership and protects with his sole life. Refusing to allow anyone to to handle it or, and rarely, know of it. He would sell it if he needed to but he really rather not do so.
