{âź} âThat kinda strength seems to be pretty par for the course, based on what Iâve already seen of Morpho.â Tearing off Matterâs arm, cracking his stomach open, nearly besting Meta in the last fight before he crystalizedâif the power given to him by the Butterfly allowed him to do those things in succession, he sees no reason why they wouldnât allow Petal to level a house.Â
âLet him worry about dealing with Petal. Heâll be prepared for whatever she can throw at him.â
As for the Waddle Dees, heâs more concerned about just how much mirror magic itâll take to successfully evacuate all of them. Based on what Daniel told him and what heâs seen just from his earlier patrols, there will be a lot of people to get out of the palace before Morpho arrives. This could involve more strain than his body can safely handleâŠ
âŠhe can suffer a few cracks for the sake of getting everyone out. Heâll be fine.Â
âI can split myself into copies to round up the Dees.â To demonstrate, he focuses his mirror magic back into weaving glass into existence, resulting in the manifestation of two silvery copies of himself standing off to either side. More will follow them, but for now, these two will work to start the initial blaze. Darkâs body itself seems to look just a little more see-through than it did a second agoâpresumably as a side effect of his magic use.Â
âA hundred copies is probably my upper limit, maybe a few more,â he guesses, crossing his arms as he thinks. His two copies both remain perfectly still, save for tilting their heads to stare at the original Dark. âAnd if I average ten to fifteen Dees a minute, across all copies, while moving full speed, we could have more than a thousand out by the time Morpho shows up.â
He hopes that his math is correct here, or heâll have to find a way to break past his own personal limits within the next few minutes. But worrying about that now does them no goodâtheyâre past the stage of conjecture. Itâs time for him to act.
From what he remembers of the magic he learned on his journey to help Kirby take down Termina, he can spark his blade up with the right element, hence the lighter. He sheathes his phone and reaches for the lighter once more, holding it up to the very base of the sword, where the blue gem set in the center of its hilt meets sharpened steel.Â
One click of the lighter, and his blade is alight with orange flames that bathe the darkened room in its flickering light. Dark holds his worldâs Galaxia away from Lillian and towards his clones, where their blades also come alight as soon as they cross with his.Â
He casts her one more significant look as his doubles step backwards, already gearing up to light the catacombs ablaze at his command. âAre you ready for this?â
