For this theme, I took a lot of inspiration from the shabby chic style, and tried to use a color palette of pastel blues, sandy browns, whites yellows and greens.
Other places where you can find decor are craft shops, or if you live by a beach, beachside furniture and novelty shops will have useful items. You can also buy prints of beach scenes by independent photographers off the internet. Drop into your local thrift shops and dollar stores and see what you can find. Last but not least, of course you can check out your local furniture stores. I'd visit stores around the beginning of summer, since thats when stores get their beach themed items in. Most stores put their summer things on sale around the end of july.
I also highly recommend the summer scented candles from bath & body works such as sunset beach, endless weekend, beach day, palm leaves, turquoise waters, coastal sun, ocean driftwood, caribbean escape, etc.
